My eye didnt catch anything at the isles, checking the raptor nest in barrens too, nothing atm. Highly doubt its in an instance. With its model it almost might be somewhere in draenor :s I'll prob check out there

Oh my god, I was just about to post this but I was ogling him for too long. You beat me to it! I just kept feeling like he'd be in a Horde area so after combing the Echo Isles I thought I'd do another lap around Orgrimmar. Looked through the troll area and the blue fire is what caught my eye first because I was looking for something blue, but then moments after that I noticed the egg!





What an exciting day.

Went there on my NE main and was able to get him, only aggro'd one guard. Frost Trap handled that. Tamed and got out. Nice find Grats!

Edit: Is anyone else's Gon rather.... big once tamed? Mines definitely larger than other raptors o_o

so both Gon and Spirit Gryphon are just like Snowblind, need the click object.

Man, I wasn't fast enough. Logged on immediately after I saw this, and there's already four hunters camping there. I'm just gonna have to be patient, I guess.

He's very big! Spirit Beasts have generally been larger than their regular counterparts though. Skoll, for example, is noticeably larger than a normal Northrend wolf.

It's hilarious that he doesn't even fit on my character selection screen XD

But good job everyone, so now its just Lalathin we have to find, but I'm not sure we have any "spectral egg" level hints as to where that one may be hiding

I wonder if the Fenryr trick would work on NH, for Elisande's secret quarters. Otherwise though I'm not too motivated to hunt when we don't even have the tome yet.

It doesn't, I've checked. Checked before killing Elisande. Checked after killing her, but before killing Gul'dan. Then checked after killing Gul'dan. I then left and reset, still nothing. I left, reset, then came back 30 mins later. Nothing.

Egg respawn seems a while. Guess I better kick back and wait.

Dang Lalathin is the one I'm most excited for by far anyways. Maybe we need the tome to even see her item though.

I'm a little perplexed by the just raw over-saturated blue of it, with no other effects.

as with other that looked like this in the past, it was done so to help bring up the colour when they had a transparency added to them,

like Gondria



and Magria



It's like they forgot to add the transparency or something (Not that I'm wishing it to be ghostly, I do love solid looking spirit beasts too)

Though skoll was also rather saturated, he also had some special effects with the lighting and such that was pretty cool (9 years ago when he was put in game)

As this was our 1st spirit beast reptile/dino, am I selfish or bad I'm kinda left wanting a little more... visually?
