HEY EVERYONE let's make a new expansion in 2010 and use the animal models from 2004 YAY!

I like those boars but hate blizzard so much for again being cheap and lazy. Reworking isn't reworking at all really it's moving old pieces around a little :\ disappointing.

Hmm perhaps they are moving old around to make way for new? Some zones will be changing a lot so I can only hope it means new models. Hard to tell until they are more into beta and aren't adding new models into the game so much. It would seem great if they would update the old models as well with newer skins, but then do you have any favorites that you wish they wouldn't touch? I think it's a tricky matter for them to tamper with favorites when that could be practically any and every old model.

Well, some of the events are occurring in the old zones, so it's not like all the animals would go away...

I'm glad they're keeping old skins. I don't really care for most of the models released for Northrend and Outland, and I imagine I might have similar problems with redoing the old ones. And we've already seen that new models will be released, as well, for those who are so inclined to pick them up.


On quillboar encroachment: It makes sense. Cows and pigs are natural enemies...
