Same. I’m still holding out hope that maybe they’ll give out codes to retailers that will unlock the preorder bonuses. Unfortunately, looking at what happened with legion, that’s probably not the case. I can still dream though.

I decided to let my game time lapse because seeing all the void elves and nightborne was not helping my depression. :/

I'm sad we can't tame the Curious Void Stalkers crawling around in the void elves scenario.

I am excited I can finally be a mooselady. No one hits on me ever. This is glorious.

I'm pretty sure you can pre-order the standard and then upgrade later, if that helps with the cost issue.

I did hear a rumor you have to be exalted with certain factions to "unlock" them. Truth? If so ............... yeah that'll be very difficult for me.

Aye. You need to be exalted with the Highmountain Tribes and complete the Highmountain loremaster to roll a Highmountain. You need to be exalted with the Nightfallen and complete the Suramar and Insurrection campaign to roll a Nightborne. You need to be exalted with the Army of the Light and complete the You Are Now Prepared! achieve to roll a Lightforged. And you need to be exalted with the Argussian Reach and complete the You Are Now Prepared! achieve to roll a Void Elf. Getting exalted nowadays is pretty darn easy, actually. Just doing the emissaries will really help you move along. If you have alts, you can funnel rep tokens from missions to a single character (assuming that the alts are exalted already). In regards to the Army of the Light and Argussian Reach, WQs on Argus will grant rep for both, and invasions on Argus grant a lot of rep, too.

Zandalari can be rolled as Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Druid. They currently don't have Monk listed.

Vulpera and Dark Iron were added to the same files where playable and NPC races are located.

Vulpera are getting several child models. So adorable!

I think my first one will be a Dark Iron. I've never had a Dwarf toon before and I like their look.

I'm going to be so sad if the Vulpera are Horde only.

I personally hope they're not playable races. Either way, I wouldn't count them as being guaranteed.

Blizz just released a statement concerning this.

As we mentioned when race information for Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves was datamined during development of Patch 7.3, we’ve found that setting up certain races as though they were player characters can be highly advantageous for NPC customization in story content. While those races did become Allied Races later, we still intend to use this approach for non-playable races.

Please don’t take a race being datamined in this way as an indication that it will become playable in the future!

This is in response to a lot of people assuming that Vulpera will be tamable due to the new vulpera children models and Vulpera being added to the same files as playable and npcs races.

Likewise, Veph. I really don't want the Vulpera to be playable. I would much prefer the Sethrak.

(I know it's just a mental hiccup but tameable made me laugh ) Sethrak would be so much better, this is just my personal opinion of course. I feel like we're due for a reptilian race though. We don't need another furry thing.

I think they would be, too, and I have been wanting a reptilian race for a long time. We have plenty of furry races.
