Sure, the pups could be with Thorim. I was just thinking that, since the peak above Trueshot isn't used, and Hati is entirely tied to the Hunter campaign of Legion, it would be a fitting place.

So...is Hati a boy or a girl? It seems like some people consider Hati a boy, some consider Hati a girl. I've always thought he was a boy.

But this begs the question: who will the mother of the pups be? And can we tame her? (just for fun idea, i know she and the pups aren't real)

If Blizz goes that route and if they show the mother, it will probably be a wolf that didn't exist prior. As for being able to tame her, I wouldn't think so, but you never know

It would really suck if they did it how other mothers w/ young groups are, where if you tame one of the offspring, the entire group aggros on you and you end up killing the mother and siblings. Let's hope if they went that route they would avoid that.

I'm sure they would. Would be awful to go up to Trueshot Peak, start taming one of the pups, and the rest start attacking you and you would be forced to either feign death, leap off of the peak, or kill them.

In the Wowhead interview with Muffinus, she asked what will happen to Hati, and Mr Muffinus said "we have plans, not ready to talk about them yet, but we have plans"

So nothing new yet, unfortunately :/ That is the same answer they have been giving for the last few months. Some speculate that Blizz has created storylines for each Artifact's retirement, or at least the more special ones. We may find out later this month if the Cultist's countdown is to be believed.

This is potentially great news. I say "potentially" because "plans" could be anything from Hati saved to Hati turned into a shaggy cloak and pair of ugg boots

Aye, it is just too early to say. They may have her die, but allow us to tame her pups or something. Or the plans could refer to a generic plan for all Artifacts (which wouldn't go over well).

I could use a shaggy cloak. "Does electrical damage when hit. Randomly lowers dps by 15% until relog."

If I recall, Hati is referred to as both "he" and "she" during Legion by NPCs. I'm guessing s/he was originally one gender, then they decided later on to change it.

Nope, he is a he. Wowpedia even refers to him as such.

It got confusing, because Hati was originally called 'she' in the Legion test but they switched his gender.

Anyone heard anything about the fate of Hati? I know we haven't seen the end of artifacts yet, and that may shine some light. Just curious if something slipped by me.
