All I can say is....your signature pet will find you.

I would NEVER have dreamed that Kallimon's signature pet would be a serpent when I created him. I expected Gumbo, his crocolisk, to be The One. But he and Brochette just.....click. That and I PvP a lot, so she's the one by his side. (See sig below.) But there's something more to it than that....

You cannot just go out and tame a certain pet and have it be your "signature" pet. They just happen. They end up being the pet you have for years, love the most, always have by your side, and your server/friends/guild knows it more than they know you.

If you have a pet you use the most and wouldn't dream of ever getting rid of, that is your signature pet.

Aye, that's how I got my Silithid signature pet. Originally, I just wanted a PvP pet for some BGs, so I set out after a yellow Silithid. I stumbled upon the rarespawn red silithid Lapress, and tamed it. I didn't intend to keep it, but I fell in love with it. Now it's in my signature, and it follows Stereo everywhere.

Just saying "i want a signature pet! ill pick that one!" doesn't work. You have to let the pet find you.

Here is my list of sugestions that don't include Aotona LOL

Bird - The blue condor from Northrend, or the Avain Warhawk from Senkth halls. Ooo or maybe the Goretalon Matriarch. That pure white would look great with blue skin.

Cat - Echo Isle tiger, or Shango in Scholazar.

Wolf - Ironjaw, or Ironjaw. Ok... Ironjaw or the Mulgore barking wolf.

What about Blacksting the wasp? Or maybe the Kurken?

I'd say just run around with pets until you find one that clicks with you. A lot of my friends know me for my plague hound just because I love my little guy to death.

*covers Ursa's ears*

I would have ideally chosen him as my signature pet, since he IS my first pet, my baby, my favorite.

But.

My signature pet, the one people have known me by, is Theseus, my dear green devilsaur. We have a special bond that I wish I had with Ursa, but I just don't have my bear out enough for him to be the pet that defines me.

You don't get to pick how or when this happens; it just does.
