It's about time they used that model.

Winged Lion will be my boy this expansion. I don't even care about anything else so far, I want a golden winged lion at my side. It's my Crawg of this expansion.

So far just Bastion seems to have a fairly good array of beasts. Curious to see what the other zones bring.

You'll probably be happy to know it also exists as a mount. And it seems like you get it fairly early on, I guess for choosing a Covenant.

Oh I definitely saw that. I don't mind the covenant limit, because my hunter is going there first (if given the option). My warrior main is going full tree hugger mode, but my hunter will go where the winged lions roam unless the other zones manage to wow me more.

Best I managed to grab so far for the moths.

PANDARIA TURTLES CONFIRMED OMG YES YES YES
Jokes aside, that is one nice moth. I hope we get a battle pet version as well as hunter pet, because I want it as a battle pet more than a hunter pet.

Didn't manage to grab a picture, but I just saw an Azerite Shale Spider.
.. Feels.. a little late?

Never too late to make those things tameable. I wanted one since they first got added.

I think that part of the reason that they aren't tamable is due to how the azerite spikes aren't part of the model, exactly.

Not sure if it helps, but

I'm bummed I couldn't get a better shot of it, but there was a hunter running around with a green unarmored version of the Vulpine Familiar mount, as pet.

I'm surprised there's even tameables on their tests. Neat that Foxes are finally(?) getting a good model. Just hope we get normal fox colors as an option, I'm not fond of the neon blue mount.

It may or may not be the pet assigned to all Hunters made in the demo.

Agreed. That green is pretty weird, but it could be cool if we get more normal colors.
Foxes have seemed outdated since they were introduced, so definitely nice for them to get an update.

Kirin models have been spotted as wild beasts! (like the swift windsteed mount)
probably good chances they might join the stag family?

Yes please, that would be nice. Stags really have a lot of dull options, and those Argenweald overcompensating elk would be a nice addition, but the kirin would be the best addition.

We won't be able to choose a Covenant until 120, and there will be a fixed zone progression instead of us being able to choose wherever we go, at least for our mains. We can do whatever we want for alts.
