Oh I had no troubles getting mine on the same difficulty, these issues are frustratingly inconsistent.
I was able to tame one yesterday. Sadly, it ended up having a pink skin after taming. I'd hoped it would keep the black one.
Strange, mine stayed the black scarred version!

Was getting this error in LFR and Normal ToT, decided not to waste my time in Heroic, opting to begrudgingly camp the rare in Deepholm, and he was tameable (and now he's my buddy).

Anyone managed to tame Raigonn in Gate of the Setting Sun, as I can't get access to the other green Kunchong model having done that quest a dog's age before.

Raigonn is still bugged, as are all the other intended tameables. You can find someone who's got that quest phase unlocked and party sync with them however. It's how I got mine.

The instance bug also applies to the Horrific Visions of Ogrimmar, specifically Rexxar's section, which has the black Aqir Goliath model.

I have been really annoyed about this glitch and have been waiting patiently for blizzard to fix it. I really want alot of these pets that have been locked behind this stupid bug. Such as The gem scorpids Black Aqiri crusher Blazeseeker (I know he wont be tamable till shadowlands but still has the same glitch) And a bunch more of them!
Blizzard please fix these pets.. I don't care if I have to wait a week just please.. I want my gem scorpions...

I want for it to be fixed, too. However, it is important right now to keep in mind that Blizz has far more important things to work on and fix than whether we can tame a particular pet. I'm sure that they'll get to it when they have time to spare.
