Finally got him after scouting last night, gotta be vigilant or people will kill him

It looks like they either changed his color or he can spawn as a different color.

Slurpo has been flagged as tameable. However, I do not know whether or not it can be tamed at lowers lvls. Since it is an elite, it will be 72 when you’re at 70.

Just tamed it at 66.

Was that tamed at level 70, or lower? Because I NEED ME AN AMAZING SNAIL.

EDIT: Yep, it's too high to tame, being at level 72 when you're 70. Thanks Blizzard, this elites being two levels higher thing is TOTALLY a welcome limitation. What channels do we go to complain about this? Because this genuinely upsets me.

Maybe party syncing with someone leveling will work?

Is Makhra the Ashtouched still tameable when the hunter is at 70? or does he go up to 72?

Sadly up to 72, I was so frustrated because makhra was the bird I wanted most, but I tamed Henlare instead

No. You can’t get it at any lvl.

Then how'd folks get him on the beta? Did something get shifted around?

Has anyone been able to check on Death's Shadow? (spawned(?) rare elite by obsidian throne)
the wow wiki says it should be one of the fire birds, (like rukmar i think) and wowhead and Beta vids show it marked as a beast. but the model they show for it is a proto drake?
i'm looking for him now but hes not up on my server and the only group i could find for him killed him before i could check

(edit) found him. he has a pet family but alas, cant be tamed. so close.

Makhra scaled to the zone level for most of the Beta. Her level must have increased towards the end so we never picked it up

well bummer. Has any one tried the lower group synching trick?

I can confirm that you can level sync to tame him.



I am level 70. I synced to level 65.

Yay!! well cool. If anyone has a low level hunter who'd like to help me get Makhra I'd be most appreciative *tomorrow cause I need to go to bed now hehe*
