Re: Patch 11.2.0
The giant bug that ends up losing its abdomen in the fight is the moth boss in the raid. It is what provides the Ethereals with their bandages. There could possibly be another new moth model.

Re: Patch 11.2.0
In favor of K'aresh, consider real world examples of "why preserve that?". Chernobyl is slowly recovering and has life that has adapted to its radiation. Japan recovered after the two nuclear bombs and has become one of the world's major hubs of entertainment and exports. Great tragedies are not the end unless there's a period at the end. Much like Chernobyl and Japan, K'aresh's tragedy has a comma, not a period. So, it's still worth trying to build something in what's left rather than abandon it entirely. Who knows, ten expansions from now, the Ethereals might succeed in de-extinction of their world's ecosystems and have a proper planet of their own without being interplanetary refugees again.
I know I'm stretching it, but a man can still have a glimmer of hope.

I advocate for immersive features that will never happen. Why do I even bother?
I also do things in WoW that maaaaay not be fully intended. Beta testing live content!
Re: Patch 11.2.0
That's promising!! If the black one appears as well, then that'll cover the last two unused looks for that model.

I guess if those islands are stable, then sure! I just thought the entire thing was slowly being devoured, but maybe not.WerebearGuy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 2:19 pm I know I'm stretching it, but a man can still have a glimmer of hope.

Re: Patch 11.2.0
From how it is has been described, it sounds like a lot of the planet is falling apart. I think it is similar to Outland (especially Netherstorm), which has been described multiple times as falling apart and will eventually no longer exist. Besides that, even though Chernobyl and Japan both recovered from what happened to them, they also were planets that were torn apart by a cosmic force and corrupted on more than just a physical level.Wain wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 2:33 pmI guess if those islands are stable, then sure! Re: Patch 11.2.0
I'm in favour of Devourer taming, they're pretty interesting creatures and it's still very odd we didn't get any new pet families this expansion. I didn't think they'd ever become relevant again so this would be the perfect opportunity!

Re: Patch 11.2.0
I'd like to see new warp stalkers! We haven't gotten a new model since BC, not counting the ones with the violet aura.

True, warp stalkers deserve some love. There is that updated model that was only used for one mount that literally nobody ever rides, so that's worth hoping for.

Re: Patch 11.2.0
Yes!! They'd be such a good fit, I hope maybe there's some more beast models tucked away that weren't shown in the preview. I adore warp stalkers and the void one didn't feel like too much of a new model since it was just a spell effect painted over it.

Re: Patch 11.2.0
There potentially are new Nether Rays. The striders, at least based off of the icons, are called K'aresh Striders. There is a new worm, but I don't know yet whether it is a partially submerged one or one that has a full model or not.

Re: Patch 11.2.0
New Elekk

New Gryphon. Possibly hinting at a new model coming in Midnight based off of the description of this mount.

This new bird model is called a K'arroc

The new "stags" are called Slatebacks.

Re: Patch 11.2.0
I'm now super pumped for The snake thing, the new Roccs and Felekks. I wonder if the crawlers will be beetles, or carapids.
The fact you can just have any spec now really makes me happy for pets again.
