Twenty! You freakin' A right charlie! Woot I haven't been this excited since flying mounts. I was hoping for five, would have been happy with three. The game just took on a whole new aspect for me. Being a hunters going to take even more planning and intelligence then before.

So many redundant threads right now. >_< I know people are excited, but still!

My guess is 20 slots = 20 total, with 5 active. After all, we technically only have 4 stable slots currently, but room for 5 pets.

All this garbage talk about "huntards" being lazy, not needing any skill to run, and letting their pets do all the work is gonna go right out the window. As a hunter, we are now going to have to choose the right pet for the job, and be able to. The game is going to a whole new level, now. I for one am glad to say that there will be something new under the sun in Azeroth.

Man, you put it so well. I really look forward to these changes, it'll be a challenge. No more "volley spam /yawn"

I still think its gona cost us some gold to get them... so I wouldnt get to happy yet...

Nah, that sounds brilliant and I can only expect tons of new beasts that i'll want. Heck, I can probably get beasts that I liked but had to get rid of before or just couldn't get because some pets are too elusive...

When I tame pets I become attached to them so easily that it's kind of pathetic. xD So, this is going to be awesome. Maybe I'll rename my horde hunter to Ashketchum.

You're right Victorelle, but don't forget that gold will also be easier to come by. Each expansion has seen a huge amount of inflation. Our most expensive stable slot right now is 150g, so I imagine we might end up paying 1000g or so for the last slot in Cata. Most people would be able to pay that now, with a few days of being diligent about dailies.
