Yeah, I'm guessing for the first two weeks they'll be a surge in goblin and worgen hunters as people try to get the First to reach 80 achievement,if the achievement will still exist in Cata, and then the number will taper off with those who can't get used to using focus and even more once they have to slog through the Outlands grind.
The outlands grind isn't so bad anymore tbh, mean even before heirlooms and all that I got my first toon to lv 65 in under a week, and that was mostly from hellfire O.o

But you are right, the focus change is going to get people either quitting or rerolling if they don't get used to it, since we're gonna be like ranged rogues.

Did anyone else who watched that video notice that all the hunters with bows and crossbows had quivers? Wonder if we're going to need them again.

Since we won't have ammo anymore, no.

Yeah I think it's just decorative.

ZOMG!

Based on info from Mania's Starter Pet Info since you can learn Call Pet at level 10 to make your starter pet your main pet, that makes the white tiger model tameable for NEs. So if they can tame them then there has to be some roaming around Azeroth for other hunters to tame!

Please let it be a low level zone.

Aye, that seems to be the deal with the Mastiffs.

Nope!

There's a tameable mastiff in WPL. :)

I meant just one colour, the one Worgen start with. I don't think that's tameable.

Did anyone think of Chick-fil-a when they saw Tauren and Plainstriders? Or was that just me?

Yes... I know they're not chickens... Tauren aren't exactly cows...

My guess is that Zanidar meant goblins should START with monkeys instead of crabs. I kinda like them with crabs, personally, and they're in a great position to tame a monkey should they so desire, so it's not bad. :)

They're gonna look fierce with those spikey crabs though. I mean, I love the skin they got but the spikey ones just fit the punk look and style so well. :) I know what my goblin hunter will tame as soon as she can. ;3

I was trying to let him know they were easily accessible. Truth be had unles there are monkeys on Kezan (where goblins start) it wouldn't make much sense. Also Goblin hunters seem to get a great set up in their starting area, monkeys and spikey raptors is a good start imo.

The spiky raptors are just Outland-raptors.

For now. Even if it doesn't change I'm fine with it.
