Finally FINALLY got my Battlemaster's Vivacity trinket...Took me long enough >.> Anyhoo..I've been avoiding the Basin until now, so armed with potions, food, and both trinkets...I am now officially back on the hunt! Wish me luck!

Okay...so I'm going on the 5th-ish hour of the hunt with Laurelwyna, my mom's level 80 hunter helping me out by flying around with me I still haven't seen Krushy...actually I haven't seen ANY of the Basin rares...

On a higher note..I added up all the stamina I'd be getting from trinkets, potions, scrolls, and food, and it came out at around 25,700 health..I think that's pretty good right?

Also added up my haste I'd get from potions, food, trinkets etc...and it came out to be around 1434 haste rating...which is around 43.something% haste...sooooo I HOPE that is enough to get down the tame process low enough where I won't be out of un-fearable BW...

Anyhoo...back on the hunt I go. Wish me more luck Lol

He should spawn in the 6th hour, at least in my experience. Good luck!

Stayed in the Basin for about another hour and a half-ish...Getting really sleepy..Going to bed for now, i'll start hunting again in the morning

Back on the hunt...Still haven't seen any of the rares yet...

Also..quick question...If I were to use the hunter spell Rapid Fire would that give me more haste towards lowering the taming seconds?

I just stacked on haste gems, i got lots of haste pots and food. but what helps out alot was a priest's FW buff! oh and i uesed Bw b4 taming. i got him in my 2nd try. whats funny thou is it was on the morning of my B-day!

Looking at what you have, if you're lucky, you'll pull it off. I almost had a solo tame with less health and haste (Like, had a second) so you should do it. But I highly recommend a priest/pally. *nods*

Alright...another night of...I believe it's probably been 8+ hours of circling that damn Basin (excuse my language)...Anyhoo...Still NO sign of any of the rares at all...Not Loque, Krush, or Aotona..dead or alive...no signs whatsoever...I'm starting to go a bit stir crazy in the Basin, had thoughts of giving up, but I'm really starting to both hate that dino, and that zone, but something is keeping me going...though...I don't know what..I would give anything right now to see A rare...maybe not Krush, but even if its' a corpse, I'd be able to base at least a spawn timer off it.

Back to circling I go...

If it helps, it seems that Loque and Krush have a 6-12.5 timer. IE once you find one dead/know when one was tamed last, count forward 6 hours to resume searching then.

Additionally, you're probably already using them, but addons are a great help.

BTW once you FIND your goal, you'll never be able to stop finding him. Searched endlessly on my hunter. Now that I tamed it. I've found 8 more just randomly flying over the area for daily quests. o_o;

Thank you Phyra..I'll will indeed count the six hours, if I ever happen to see a dead rare...also..you mentioned Loque and Krush, but is Aotona also on the sixish hour timer?

And yeah I'm currently using NPCScan & NPCScan Overlay.

Also: I totally used to be like that, where I would constantly would find rares that I didn't need in the Basin, back when I thought I was done filling out my stable...I got my sister her Loque and Aotona, my mom her Loque, and I remember early one morning when no one I knew was on, and I was actually the only alliance person in Sholazar, I ran into a blood elf hunter with a white gorilla pet named "IwntLoque" hehe ...Two minutes later, I found Loque at the northern most spawn point, rushed back to him and /followme'd til he flew up with me to his location. Of course...now that I'm looking again, I can't find a single one hehe

Well yay...I reply to a message, go back into the game, and find Aotona...alive, I leave her be, message a friend of mine, turns out she wanted her, so I fly back to where I spotted her, just in time to find a hordie taming. =/ Kinda sucks for my buddy hunter, but grats to that hordie but finding her at least....being the first rare I've spotted since I've started this hunt, has really given me a reason to keep going ...So now the question is: How long do I wait before coming back to the Basin?? Is her respawn linked to Krush and Loque?

Nope. None are linked to one another. Aotona appears to have a longer timer than most.. I've actually never found her twice in a row ---but I'm purely guessing 12-24 ....

Ah okies, well I'm still in the Basin..queuing for randoms in between circles.

You'll get him! I saw him today and attempted to tmae him (at lvl 76) didnt happen and he was killed but atleast I saw him. Exactly 6 hours later I ran into loquenak so those spawn timers are wierd. Just keep on the lookout for him and be prepared he hurts like a mofo lol.

I queued for randoms when I was camping for Skoll after it got to the point of me about to go crazy from sitting there doing nothing. When I camped Krush I had my boyfriend with me, so he covered two spawn points while I flew around the others. When he spawned for me it was right by the Nesingwary quest hub (I had read stories about people taming and getting feared into the guards and the guards killing him, so I was nervous when I saw him there) but overall it went well. A year and a half later, he's still totally worth it ( I do miss the big stompy walking noise though). It took me a couple days of on/off camping to find him so don't give up!! He's out there and I hope you get him soon :3
