It wasn't meant as something personal, Ryai, I was just explaining.

I hate how new garrosh looks, however, As someone who hated Garrosh before, I think that Blizzard may be taking a step in the right direction with character development? I definitely would take a ship with a pilot who flew once or twice successfully than one who didn't at all, given those only two options. And I LOVE lore/character development, especially seeing it happen, so this Actually makes me pretty excited. And I noticed the NPC interactions too, but I wonder if Krom just despawns as falling or if you can go to the bottom and see a buttload of corpses.
Idk, I was pretty upset that the horde lost Thrall, and I don't even play horde (yet). But if Garrosh really did learn something in Northrend, maybe he'll change. Especially back to his old model.

I really can't wait to see if there's going to be an in-game explanation for such a drastic overhaul.
-Hey Garrosh? What's with the new look?
-Thought it be a good way to show how tough I am.
-Oh. Well it doesn't.

I can see it now......After defeating Deathwing it switches to a cutscene showing Garrosh and Varian dueling and killing each other. Either that or Vul'jin gutting him like a pig at a BBQ

I like Varian a lot thank you very much! He at least has a strong reason to dislike the horde, unlike Garrosh who just hates to hate.

And it's turned out A: he's not a complete asshole or B: he actually is to scared by Saurfang to actually do anything.
Might explain
why there's a war now too. Since Saurfang is MIA burying his son, Varian thinks he has a chance to smash the horde.
Garrosh needs to deal with his split personality. First he's emo, then he's racist roid raging all over the place, ignoring Saurfang. Now come Cata he's 'somewhat saner' and actually listened to Saurfang... or atleast enough to give petty speeches and throw Vol'jin out of Orgrimmar.

Seeing a father bury his son and seeing him as a man, rather than an orc, may have moved ol' Varian.

I heard that Garrosh was behind Thrall's capture and payed the humans to do it or something, but that was just speculation (or however you spell it)

I blame the no war part on Jaina. She's the wall between Varian and his goals of destroying the horde.
And I don't think he wants to destroy the horde to be an ass. He's seen the underbelly of their society. If you payed attention at the VERY end of the Wrathgate quest when you're about to fight Thrall, he mentions how he was thrown from arena to arena. no one cared what happened to him as long as they saw a good fight.
He isn't an ass towards the Horde for no reason. He has very strong reasons, which I can support. It's not his fault he didn't get to see the nicer part of the horde. And he has managed to not go into full out war with them, despite what he wants, because he understands Jaina and what she is trying to do.

Gimlion in the horde version of the wraithgate he just openly attacks thrall when thrall did not want too. So you can see why some hordies think he is an ass?

Yeah. And I'm simply explaining why he is an ass. Which there is no doubt of. He is definitely an ass, but only towards the horde, and for what I feel is a good reason.
It's not like he's just being an ass for the fun of it.

Gimlion, you explain it so well. I've been trying to make that same argument, you're just so eloquent about it.

Thanks!

Haha thanks. I love Varian. He is such an interesting character. And I've also had this discussion MANY times, so I basically have what I need to say on Varian's behalf well before the other person finishes their post.
