I tried to design a warlock but this is what came out. I can picture him as kind of a villain.

Male Forsaken Paladin

Somehow my favorite so far and the only one with a back story.

Once a commanding officer of the scarlet crusade, he fell against some forsaken rogues who assaulted the monastery.
Then he woke up again as forsaken, almost going mad about the idea.
Somehow the force of the light is still with him, he still is a paladin.
He tried to go back and see if the curse could be lifted but could barely get away alive from his former comrades.
Now that he knows what it feels like to be undead and have a bunch of maniacs trying to kill you on sight, his heart filled with hatred and he is now a feared hunter of scarlet soldiers.

I just love your style, Kara. Looks very artistic.

Kind of a counterpart to the forsaken paladin.
Commander of the scarlet crusades special assault forces.

An inexperienced tauren warrior seeking honor and fame by fighting the alliance.

Another screen test - fire effects

Not as good as I wish it was...

Love them all! It's such a simplistic style but it works incredibly well for what you want to display.

All the characters look so interesting, I want to know all about them. ^^

Looks kind of neat. I'd try for a more concentrated effect tough.
Oh, and make their shadows move in relation to the fire! It's lighting, right?

To be honest, the shadows were made before I even thought about the fire... And then I forgot them.

I *love* this style! Nice profiles thus far; minor request for a short race, though!

Somehow, I thought that gnomes would be only half a character.
So I made them to be brothers, a warlock and an ice mage.

Maybe I'm just purely dumb or artistically challenged because I'd love to know how to do this sort of thing. I love them all and cannot well..figure out how you do it or where to begin I guess

Gah I wish undead could be paladins...something I've always wanted to play.

The little details in these along with the thickened borders and outlines just look so awesome. ^^
