On the topic why Mazz, a male tallstrider, would have babies with him, tallstriders are mostly based on cassowaries from their look and, with the grey model, their plumage colors.

Reproductive

The breeding season starts in May or June. Females lay three to eight large, dark bright green or pale green-blue eggs in each clutch into a prepared heap of leaf litter. These eggs measure about 9 by 14 centimetres (3.5 by 5.5 in) — only Ostrich and Emu eggs are larger. The female does not care for the eggs or the chicks but moves on to lay eggs in the nests of several other males. The male incubates the eggs for 50–52 days, removing or adding litter to regulate the temperature, then protects the brown-striped chicks who stay in the nest for about nine months, defending them fiercely against all potential predators, including humans. So....uh...Velkyn....In answer to your question, well...

So, here I am, log onto BE mage, just to check out Barrens, see Scatch and Ted, try and find Mankirk's wife's grave (Ironically never found it...) and the whatnot. Head to Org, laugh at Garrosh, go to Thunder Bluff and hunt down Mazz and his babies. Mazz doesn't like me getting too close, but I fly up and away, then land and take pictures.

So, I had Mazz targeted, and forgot G wasn't the mount button...It was the Shoot Wand button...

Killed Mazz on accident. So, here I am, going, "AAAAAAW! I KILLED MAZZ!", My brother going, "What the?" and the babies running around in a panicked disarray. I left them after killing the nearby wolves and cougars, promising Daddy would be back, he has a short respawn...

At least you killed the surrounding predators, I don't think the baby Mazz's would last long on their own without daddy to protect them
