Oh my. That would be like hitting a wall. What country is this again? Somewhere Nordic, if I remember right.
But, yeah, gotta go with the car crashes. Seems I've heard that before. I'm sure some people to stupid stuff to deer and get kicked/gored, though. Having watched people interact with bison (they're wild animals you fools! they weigh more than your car!), I will believe any stupidity where people and wild animals are concerned. Case in point...tourist walks up within 10 feet a bull buffalo and starts yelling an flailing and jumping up and down. He's damn lucky it wasn't the rut and that bull was in a good mood.

Back on track, I want a talbuk and/or deer. Real deer are pretty good fighters, with those sharp hooves. They could make an "ungulates" family for deer and talbuks.
Also happens in the country of Maine. It's like hitting a smallish water tower.

Personally I wouldn't object to making ungulates tameable (they kinda sorta already did with rhinos...), but only because it would make other hunters happy - I wouldn't tame one myself; to me they fall into the "that's a mount!" category, which makes me think more of movement and traveling than of combat.

Saturo, that picture is quite scary. I can see the indents of it's legs on the hood, where it must have first hit. All we have to worry about hitting in this part of the US are deer, and that is bad enough.

deer are dangerous unless you have a gun or a bow but heck I come from a family of hunters, I grind up deer meat that my family hunts so I can't really be complaining

We meant that you can drive a car into a deer and get hurt, Ruby. And you CAN miss with a gun, like I did when I tried hunting. Recoil knocked me off my feet. xD

for all I know though my dad uses a REAL crossbow not a gun and he always has clean kills of course he rarely hunts anymore because he has to pay for everything he kills, everything he does kill we turn into hamburgers, so i'm obvously crazy when it comes to hunting so just ignore me for now

Well, I love venison. And elk. And goose. Mmm...feast of many beasts. As long as hunting is done cleanly and for meat, no problem!
And Saturo, yeah! Recoil can be, quite literally, a pain! Ouch.

The Talbuks and Clefthooves (sp? Clefthoofs?) I just used Beast Lore on are untameable right now on the beta.

No, neither one had diets. Beast Lore only informed me what their health was and that they were untameable.

Pff! I did just fine with an ordinary sized gun. The big ones you need to have to properly pierce the hide of moose are... Well... Tougher.
Besides, I learned that you don't stand up when you shoot. Wish the others had told me that... Ah well, at least they had a good laugh. xD
