That skin has tempted me ever since I saw it in that ice zone with that...ice dwarf (I hate ice dwarves...so it added insult to injury.) I'm hoping they make it a new spirit beast somewhere.

The emerald owls are tamable and they're not even exotic, yet you never see anyone using them. Poor cunning pets.

If anyone on Alliance side wants to go on a fact-finding mission into Uld, and needs people to bulk up the numbers, then I'm willing to help. Look for me as Niaw on Lost Isles (dps shaman).

Edit: I just tested the effect of haste on this spell for myself. I never expected blizzard to remove a nerf. I'm genuinely surprised.

I had extremely close to 2500 haste rating to be able to cut Tame Beast down to 10 seconds. I think it was something like 2489, or around that.

haste DOES affect tame casting time....with all my gems socketed to haste, elixir of lightning reflexes, pot of speed, imperial manta steaks, and a couple of haste enchants, my hunter's 'Tame beast' went from 20 to 9.4 secs

Yes, I realize that now. I hadn't even tried it since it was changed right after they nerfed the ghost wolf, and I've got no idea when they reverted it. Most likely the 3.0 patch. I never bothered to try taming anything that interrupts, and never considered that haste would help me, because I never expected tame beast to be un-nerfed. My mistake.

Next time someone goes to Auriaya, wait for swarming guardians and try to target one and hit beast lore.
