I dunno...the mount grind is a bit annoying, but at the same time I like it. Makes you feel like you really need to EARN the right to use those other mounts.

And as for alli mount grinds you can pretty much have a horse or tiger too by level 30, so you wouldn't be 'stuck' with a elekk for too long, as long as you're dedicated. Though personally I like elekks so I don't mind them at all. ^^

Also, lizard mounts FTW!

I love mount grinds. I *hate* RNG based mounts.

I play to earn things, not play the lottery

I hope they have more acheivement and rep grind mounts in Cataclysm, and less luck based mounts.

Yeah, rep grinds and stuff that drops 100% from raidbosses on hc aren't a problem for me. I'm less of a fan of the "0.01% chance to drop from this boss on hc" mounts...

WOW shes so pretty! I love it! I wish my night elf had an updated model like that - also she can assume the form of any female of any race and IS Alex's younger sister which would explain why they look alike. Her physical form is never said to NOT have its eyes open as there have been moments in time when she has opened her eyes. Either way I love hr and as a night elf well.. I love her even more

but yeah, i agree with veph, where the heck would you sit on it, seems painful xD

They could "surgically" remove two of the spikes in the middle and plop a saddle right there.
Kinda like the bone raptors, in pics I've seen of them without a saddle they have a row of spikes going down their spines. But in pics with the saddle those spikes have been removed to accomadate the saddle.

well Nevar shes only done it like 4 times ever well thats what the lore says anyway but then again it says she takes the form of the female version of the race shes talking too..... would be cooler if she had a differnt model for every playable race tho ie if you play a orc you would see her as an orc. But hey who cares bout lore lol.

While it may seem appropriate e to do so, she probably has one form she tends to stick to as do most dragons, besides giving her one for each race would be a pain. So she looks fine as is since she considers the night elfs practically her children it only seems fitting that she take the form of one.

Official artwork shows her elf form with it's eyes closed, if I remember correctly. I'll see if I can find the picture in question.
