Flew around Un'goro. Only saw one devilsaur in 5-7 minutes of searching and it was the white one. This means nothing, mind, all I could fine during my quick search was a white one. Maybe we will get lucky. And if we all say something....?

So I'm sure it can be done. At least I seriously hope so.

Oh and one trick that may be worth trying for those who want to ..................... snakes. The snake trap DOES work. Not just as a short way to slow him down but also to get him to fear the snakes.

That's brilliant! I love having hunters popping down a snake trap on p3 of the black knight in toc5 because I see him putting his mark on the snakes instead (army of the dead works wonders too!). It warms my healer heart. But it never occurred to me that it'd work there. Brilliant.

I found him and it seemed my BW worked when I tried on the beta

no not on Beta... I didnt have the haste so I got feared all the time

I have him on live tho

Um no I am understanding, you're not listening- even with TBW being nerfed, for hunters, aslong as you get the tame to 10 seconds as I am going to assume Fear Ward is still in game because of how long a cooldown it has [three minutes I assume] that Krush should still be a possible tame.


Edit: Besides, I managed to tame King Mosh without haste and without TBW as I was a dumbass lv 70 who didn't think to use a trash pet for fear immunity. If I could manage that in 3/5 tries- then surely with enough haste to get Tame Beast to 10 seconds, you can do it too.

There's even a glyph that makes it a 2m duration and 2m cd too. ^_^

No I was Level Seventy. Not 69, not 71, 70 as I hadn't gotten Wrath yet, as they weren't letting me DL the game off of the site like I had for WoW and TBC. So I was a lv 70 in PvP gear running thru the basin looking for something of a challenge. I saw Mosh and decided well why not.

Then I decided I must have him when he completely owned a Shaman in way, way better gear than me.

Ah lol.

But anyways the point still stands, Mosh and Krush both have the same sort of fear- it triggers randomly. And with Mosh I found if you used anything other than Tame Beast, it seemed to trigger faster, harder and was overall not worth trying to do detterance+Life blood in any way shape or form to negate his crushing blows.

Albeit Krush has a shorter time between fears, in my 3/4 tests on the PTR [subsiquently failed tests I add], he feared anywhere from 10 seconds into the tame, to 19 seconds into the tame.

Meaning In Theory if you have the luck, patience and no one trying to take him down, you can get Krush on your own if Tame Beast is as low a cast tame as possible.

Either you had some SERIOUSLY lucky RNG, or Blizzard is being kind to hunters on the sly! I've had him fear me immediately before, but then, I was trying to open with something other than tame....

I'll have to try again then. I only got two attempts before the guards killed it and both times he feared me IMMEDIATELY....so if his cd on fear is 10 seconds, then yes it'll be possible with a fear ward, but its not possible to solo it anymore I suppose.

Kind of random, but my baby reappeared in my stable this evening :3 along with my 4 spirit beasts!

XD no I didn't retame him...I had him on live and after the latest patch he along with my 4 spirits disappeared from my stable

I left the 5 original slots open and logged on her today and they were back.....so happy!
