To be honest...If I could even watch this whole video, which I can't (I saw her first motion of throwing the puppy and closed the page straight away.) and I saw her in real life. I probably would want to kill her too! But that's mainly because I only got a Mini Schnauzer puppy aound a week ago, and mainly because I only just got the little puppy I can't bring myself to watch it.

Really? You'd kill a person to save an animal? I'm not talking about the person you'd be killing, I'm talking about you, killing a person. Forget about being pissed about this video, forget about what the person's crime is. You're willing to become a murderer?

War situation aside ('cause clearly there's a difference in intent on the part of your opponent) we clearly don't agree on this issue, so I'm just going to leave this thread now.

Really though....I'll admit Sara has a point. You may say you'd kill her, but if you actually met her, that's different. You can say something, and then not be able to to do it. Killing is serious business.
If you killed her, sure, you;d be "preventing more animal creulty" but suddenly, you're now a murderer who just killed a young girl. Yeah, she threw puppies into water....but people tend to be biased on what they see, and what they want to see. And if they see you as some dude who killed a girl...no matter the crime, you're going to jail.
And then YOU will be the recieving death threats.
Don't get me wrong, I believe it's awful to hurt animals like that. We know better, and we shouldn't ever subject ANYONE to that kind of treatment, be they human, or animal. But Sara is right, in my mind. Wanting to kill someone is NOT a good thing, nor is it a healthy state of thought. Because then, it'll only lead up to more thoughts about killing...

First - I didn't watch the video. I didn't have to, I got a clear enough mental image and it's horrible and depressing.
The really bad thing about this though? There's worse out there.
Like the story about the person who used the bathroom in a department store to drown kittens (not to mention the manager of said department store responding to her distraught staff by saying "they were just cats, they were going to be killed anyway."). Or Puppy Mills and fur farms,
and the less said about the dog meat industry in china and surrounding areas, the better. *shiver* I've seen videos of the suffering those poor creatures go though. Nothing prepares you for that sort of shit.
Second - What was done here was horrible and inhumane... But I don't think I can really condemn these people to die. And I don't want to kill them. Have them brought to justice? Yes. Maybe hard time plus a criminal psychiatrist could let these people look deep inside themselves and make someting better out of their lives. Or maybe they rot in a cell or a white padded room. But murdering them in retribution? Ultimately, that just brings you down to their level.

Depending on where exactly the video in question is from, putting up for all the world to see wasn't a really smart idea anyway. Someone's sure to recognize the location, and maybe turn the video over to law enforcement. If it happened to have occurred in an area where animal cruelty is actively prosecuted, congratulations! You just gave the prosecution all the evidence they'd need to convict the both of you once you're identified. And that is what should happen to both participants. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Maybe given some serious mental therapy as well.

Okay, it's time to lock this topic, there's way too much hostility going on here. I consider threatening to kill someone unacceptable, no matter if it's a joke or not, regardless of what the person has done.
