I just did it horde-side and HOLY COW!!!! I'M IN LOVE!

Edit: my level 22 mage couldn't do the entire quest chain. My 80 obviously could. I don't know what the level requirement is to do the whole thing.

You get an item that turns you into a troll for 1/2 hour every 4 hours - which makes me think you get an item that turns you into a gnome alli-side (I want to go check but I promised the guild I'd wait!!), which means I GET TO BE A GNOME HUNTER! GNOME SHADOW PRIEST! GNOMES SHAMMY!!!! I'm so happy right now.

My 22 mage did get to do the chain until the quest that gives the item, so at least she'll be able to be a troll from time to time, even if she won't have the achievement.

Also this could be the last chance to get Timber, so I'm jumping right on him. XD

Better not to jump into conclusions just yet - I'm only taming Timber because I happen to have a slot to spare.

Timber's skin is still going to be around. He's cute though

Timber was still there when I did Gnomer...too bad this is the only first part of it...wonder what the next part will be like...

Poor Azu will not approve of being forced to become a gnome....BRB, going to mess with my druid's head...

Really though, I am not missing the event this time! Yay! Events!

I hope theres two sweet Engineering only schematics:

Gnomerator ~ "Turns entire party into Gnomes for 30 minutes, the only other way out of this one is death I'm afraid... 30 Min CD"

Gnome-B-Gone ~ "Deploys vortex that sucks up all Gnomes in current party (including self), can be used with Gnomerator for maximum effect... 30 Min CD"

BTW, in case anyone wants to tame the Durotar tigers, they're still there outside the phasing, even after the event.

Wait, I thought both Echo Isles and Gnomer won't have any AH or Banks... That it will just simple be a new beginning arena...

So, is there like a time limit on the event? Would I have to do it by a certain time? *shakes fist at evil looming pile of textbooks*

I'm really looking forward to this! Unfortunately I live in EU so I'll have to wait until tomorrow.


Also I thought I'd post this as it made me really mad, some people just amaze me with their stupidity. Someone managed to QQ about how long time it took to complete the event, the cooldown on the reward, the lack of stats on the back...

Hell I'd even be happy with no rewards because this event will be awesome!

As long as you do it before Cata releases you should be fine. It's the pre launch event, like the Scourge invasion.

It's a very short event thus far; you can squeeze it in, Teigs.

I like the shapeshifting item. Despite the 4h cd, the buff lasts for 30m, which beats the 10m buffs.

Just too sad that they didn't add any overcloaks. The rewardcloak is just vendortrash with a troll insignia on. Might be useful for RP, but not much else.

Yeah Teigs, go do it, it's only an hour or so.

Aleu, you're right. They won't be capitals. I'm sure there'll be inns though, but you'll have to go to IF/Org to use the AH etc.

It should have been an overcloak. I thought it was supposed to be.
