Paint Shop Pro is great, I've found it has all the features I need without being overly complicated. I've never used GIMP so I couldn't tell you in comparison.

honestly i want something free that is great for making image edits like changing color so i can design potential skin recolors

Veph those look great! If you've ever used photoshop would you say paintshop pro is easier? I struggle with photoshop sometimes, but I'm getting better as I keep working on it. Was thinking of trying Paint Shop Pro

I've dabbled in Photoshop, but my experience is very minimal. Without taking any classes or tutorials, I was just overwhelmed with the amount of options.
I found Paint Shop Pro years and years ago and was just easily able to navigate my way through the options and such, and so I'm very comfortable with it as a program. I don't do extremely difficult things, so PSP is probably all I'll ever need. ^^;

As far as I have used these programs, PhotoShop is much more feature rich, while Paint Shop is an easier program to learn and use.

Veph, love the P.Dawg avatar! Perhaps we could see sme more vanity/mini pet avatars? We don't have any of those yet.
