His clothes and such are fine. It's just his face is all wrong. I don't mind him aging but they need to keep the face his ART has rather than slapping Akama's face-type on him.

Agreed!
And also, I agree completely with you Talu. I might not have wanted him to have clothes like that, but in the end, I can accept it. The problem is his face.

If my calculations are correct, Thrall should be around 35yrs old I think, may be wrong there though.
His face does make him look less Orc I guess. I actually dislike his braids more than anything else. They seem silly, and I don't like how far out in front of his body that seem to be
*shrug* that's just me

I was kind of amused when I did the quest that took me to the Maelstrom...step through the portal and there's Thrall, looking all like Moses parting the Red Sea in Cecil B. DeMille's "The Ten Commandments."

The tag over his head said the model was a placeholder...but it was certainly a funny visual.

This is just a placeholder? God I hope so. XD

Azerothian Super Villains. XD If you've never seen it, then I demand you go watch it. You'll never view WoW the same again.

Personally I like him more shaman-esk. Wearing the black armor (yeah i know theres lore behind it) with those god ugly Stockade Pauldrons wasnt that Shaman of him.
He looks sad though
~Maybe because his guild forces him to play Resto now and he had to put away his fancy axes

...maybe he's trying to distance himself from Garrosh's actions?

Maybe Garrosh's stupidity messed up his face.

Hehe, I remember a thread on this a while back, but as I said back then I really like the model. Thrall's been called upon to do a very important and I'm sure stressful task. He's aged to be sure, and I think the hood adds to the 'elder' visage. Without the hood and seeing his full hair he probably wouldn't look so old. Either way, it doesn't bother me. He seems noble and wise, and it's not as though I expect him to be youthful looking after everything he's been through. Shirking the mantle of Warchief and rushing to aid the earth itself...the new outfit brings to mind an exiled shaman of sorts.
Anyways, I have no problems with it. ^^

It's not the clothes that are wrong. Those are awesome.
It's his FACE. Looks like a truck ran his face over.

I...don't see a ton of difference myself....
The skin is "duller" and there's a "fleshiness" that could happen with age. But otherwise? I don't see it looks that incredibly different?

You dont notice the obvious difference in tusk length and the fact his mouth is now sagging on the floor rather than being closer to his nose? Duller colors, eye color looks different. There's A LOT of differences.

Yes, the tusks look a bit small, but his lip being fuller and his face being a bit longer is easily put off as aging. Both eyes look blue to me? The one does have "duller" tones, but again, it could easily be age and stress.
The basic structure looks about the same to me. Same rather strong cheekbones, same smaller nose, kind of lantern-jawed, etc. Yes, it's different, but it's not like shocking, "AMG WHO IS THAT?!" different to me, not like say...Sylvanas going from a Night Elf to a Blood Elf.

I agree, and to me this is certainly FAR better than the old model. Like most of the faces of the old races, it has a really vacant expression and the always open mouth makes him look like he's constantly going "Duuuuh". Yes, there was no need to make the tusks smaller, but the new face has so much more personality and strength, imo. It's just much better than the old one.

Maybe its that presidential complex that happens that they implemented on Thrall...
Look at a before and after pic of Bill Clinton or George W Bush. They physically aged about 20 years during their 8 year presidency.
