if this was merely a new model for the current scorpion beasts and not the Horde mount, i'd still be in heaven

I love this mount. It looks awesome. It'll be a tough call for me, Scorpion or Silithid...

No, I have no problem in BGs. BGs I have a mentality of "If it's red, its dead."
I meant, if I'm chilling around my faction's cities, I sure as heck wouldn't want to be like "I need to stop by the AH today and pick up som- OH GOD WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!"

It'd be pretty sweet as a pet, though I'd still not tame one X3 But I would support fellow hunters getting one despite my dislike of bugs.

I'd rather tame it than ride it, personally.

I was hoping that the Horde guild mount would be an armored boar, to be honest.

I want to see one with a big pink guild tabard on it.

Though the imagery is hilarious. Though I'll be Worgen in the expansion, so you might have to change that to "Worgen starts throwing goblins and gnomes at the scorpion mount" XD

OK couple things here.

1) it does look freaking sweet.
2) A battleground team of these would = instant win for the other side as soon as they all hit a bump and take a venom barb in the back
3) Scaling: It's the only way to fix this. Make the ugly suckers sooooo huge, the saddle fits on top of the tail behind the stinger. Then we get a little button like you would on one of the vehicles that says "tail catapult".
4) They need to update ALL models. I don't get this. Cataclysm is the game about going back, changing, and updating the Old World of Vanilla WoW. How are the mobs/mounts/ChArAcTeRs NOT getting an overhaul? Though I am glad we don't look like Worgen Females.
5) I would still get the damn thing

MMO has some updated pics of it...with some armor added...still dunno where the tabard goes tho...

I'm probably in the minority here, but I am not a fan of the "saddle-head" scorpid. The scorpid looked WICKED before they added that. How is it even attached, super glue? Looks rather uncomfortable for the lil' guy. The armor on the pincers looks pretty good, though.

I dunno, I'm not hugely excited about having ANOTHER cat as alliance, but I don't think I'd be too thrilled actually riding this scorpid, even though it is a totally new model.

Maybe the tabard can hang like a flag off teh stinger


j/k But honestly I think it looks fantastic now without a tabard, but I am sure they will stick one somewhere another.

Oh wow...I love the newest update of it with the armor! The claw armor is fantastic, and I really like where they put the saddle.

Not sure if I'll ever obtain this mount, but if I do I think it will be a new favourite. :3
