Boubouille is guessing early Dec now. =====> Insert Nerd Rage here <=====
No blue post means he's full of it til theres solid evidence. I've yet to see any evidence supporting it's been pushed back.

BLIZZARD has not announced an official release date yet. They're just not ready to do so.

Any release dates announced by anyone else are just speculation/a placeholder.

That includes Boubouille, no matter how accurate his guesses usually are. He's really good at predicting what Blizzard's got planned, but he's not always right, and I'm sure he'd be the first to tell you that.

I've yet to see him right once, actually. Most people never listen to him. He's about as reliable as Amazon.....which isn't saying much.

Mass generalizations are mass generalizations.

Point is, until something's been officially announced, everyone is guessing. No sense in anyone getting upset about guesses.

ACK.

This is off-topic, but check out this tidbit from just below that part of the link:
Blizzard doesn't want you to use Shattrath and Dalaran as portal hubs anymore, the latest beta update removed all the portal to the cities and replaced them with class trainers.
:(

Sad Kalli is sad.

Yah that kinda sucks. They put class trainers there. Well what good is that gonna do you if you can't get back to old world ? The only option I see is the caverns of time portal.

I guess that works; I just had all these plans for my pocket Dalaran portal. :/ Although I suppose it is a pretty convenient spot to find class trainers now, since they're all clustered together. Say you're leveling with a group of different classes; it'd be a decent stopoff spot.

hmm.. I do have the northend wormhole thingy on my hunter I could always use. Have my hearth set for a Major city and I'm set.

I'm not mad but it's pretty pointless to even bother mentioning him when the only post thats important is a blue post. If it's not a blue post, then theres no sense in even mentioning it or making a fuss and confusing people.

No portals? Freakin hell.....thats retarded! X_X;

The "upset" part hadn't been directed at you. I hadn't brought him up either; that was in the post I was replying to. The bolded part is EXACTLY what I already said.

Are you having another argument about agreeing again? Seriously, I think I'm spotting a trend here! ;-)

Not entirely. :)

Hehe didn't want to start a thread that led to all these arguments ( yeah I know friendly discussions heh).

On a different note, are those crabs shown in the lion guild mount thread tame-able?? Cause they look badass!! ( hopes no-one notices my less than subtle change of topic ;) )

We really need to quit doing this. XD

It's not guesses, he knows someone who works at Blizzard. Though informations are always changing so he doesn't always get up to date stuff correctly.

Exactly! He can only be as accurate as the information he gets. :)

Well I've talked to GMs and know someone that has a family member working for Blizzard and most workers don't know anything from what my friend told me and also other GMs. They know about as much as we do so unless Bou knows the creator or something, he probably doesn't have much of a clue, just like us. Blizzcon is coming up so we should have something more solid than word of mouth guesses, hopefully!

Totally agreed on that point, Tal; if there's going to be news from Blizzard about a REAL projected release date, it'll be at Blizzcon.

Boubouille makes his guess based on the info he is given. He is/has been very careful when putting dates on stuff. Example being with patches. He has a very good track record knowing when ptr patches will go live. This is a far cry from being as reliable as amazon as you said before.
