Then 2 weeks after it goes live they admitted they felt the overnerf was too hard. And what'd they do? Absolutely NOTHING.

So I disagree, Blizzard can be that stupid about numbers.

Seriously, Blizzard is not going to want to face the wrath of the BM community two expansions in a row. They have to fix this.

Frankly, I don't think they really care about a raging community.

I do hope they fix things, but, if BM is back to 15% or more lower than MM again, I AM done, and will not bother with the expansion. My gold is for sale.

Honestly, I'm not going to invest any opinions in this until Cataclysm is live. There's just too much up in the air and still in progress at the moment. I'll reserve judgement for when it's truly released.

Also remember that Arcane is hitting for like 50dps right now. What tools is BM going to have?

^ This. I'm doing the same. It's also not the end of the world. Personally, if you give up something you love just because of changes, you must not have loved it that much. i'll never give up BM.

I'm also not investing any more MONEY or time in this until we see what things look like when 4.0.1 hits. If BM is back to it's 3rd-rate position, I will be done. Damn glad I didn't buy the collector's edition.

This is feeling more and more like Blizz is throwing pretty pets at us, and then whacking with the nerf bat on the other side.

Honestly, I think you're WAY overreacted. Yes, nerfing is getting QUITE old but goddamit, quitting the whole damn game just because the spec you preffer is getting nerfed? If you like BM so much, DEAL WITH THE NERFS AND PLAY YOUR DAMN BM HUNTER!

I also agree. You're overreacting over something that could be fixed soon once Blizzard sees the numbers. Even in 3.0.8, I still played my BM like a champ and people were impressed at how I stuck to it despite what others said. Infact, it inspired and earned me new friends.

The more I look over the changes, and the wild swings in the numbers, and the across the board nerfs this time, it's clear Blizz fucked up in their design of BM for Cata. They built BM around KC, and are having major problems balancing the damage, and appear to be trying all kinds of things. (I've had this feeling before as a Ret pally).

With the release date confirmed, I highly doubt this will get fixed the way it needs to, as KC seems to be what is breaking the whole system, and they don't seem to have an answer for it. MM and SV will likely get KC balanced for them, but BM is going to suffer.

What irks me the most is the further nerfs to the high-end BM talents. Other than getting exotics, there isn't much at the top of the tree. Bestial Wrath is a joke now.

I personally don't think that's true but you're seeing red so no matter what anyone says, you're gonna still say 'they fucked up!' rather than listen to reason.

They are human. Humans are far from perfect. Humans make mistakes. They will correct them, that much I am certain. medicine isn't found and perfected in one day. It takes years sometimes. In the case of BMs, it may take mere days...it may take a few months. but it will be fixed.

Last I checked, I wasn't talking about Blizzard whatsoever. Yes, I am upset over the nerfs. But do I overreact like a little 8 year old who just lost their favourite Transformers toy? (No offence to ANYONE who likes them, by the way!) NO. I do not. Because I LOVE the BM spec. No matter WHAT nerfs come my way and no matter how bad BM is, I WILL STILL PLAY IT. Slick, I am honestly ashamed to call you a servermate. I guess my friend was right when she said Alliance on Windrunner has better raids but is full of complete assholes, jerkfaces and idiots, while Horde basically sucks at raiding, but is MUCH nicer.

I really hope you're right, but I remember how they "fixed" BM for Wrath after 3.0.8.

I am fucking SICK of being mocked for being BM. I will NOT play a third-rate spec again. If you want to run around and collect pretty pets, that's fine.

And it certainly doesn't help when bloggers/podcasters like Frostheim are vocally encouraging the nerfs, and railing about how BM has no business raiding.

Why can't I quit if I don't like the direction the game is going?.. I'm supposed to play something I don't enjoy? Between this and the stupid idea of holy light combo points for pallys, I really am ready to pack it in.

Funny thing is that you also mock Saturo for thinking about quitting her hunter because she doesn't like the state of MM. Go figure.

And Slick? There are more classes than hunters and pallies. A LOT more. Try those. While Senna did go overboard, I personally agree you are being childish about this.
