The Ulduar drakes still require more than just good gear and enough skill to know to not stand in fire. While it is more forgiving of mistakes with ICC gear than TOC/Uld gear, it is by no means something that I would say anyone can breeze through.
Eh. I suppose. I just know that with only a couple of pieces of t9 (this was after ToC had just come out) and the rest Uld gear, I was able to basically solo heal p4 of firefighter (10m) after the other healers went down early in the phase. Gear makes these fights VERY forgiving.

Or you might be a damn good healer?

Maybe!

And our group was good (was a bit of a fluke that the other healers both died). And we happened to have two paladins tanking (lolLoH). But it was possible to kinda faceroll it a bit even then. I'd be scared to see how easy it is with ICC+ gear.

I've read a lot of posts saying they are "taking away" various mounts, including the ZG mounts. I hope that this is inaccurate. That seems just cruel to take away the mounts people have farmed or worked hard for. I love my zg raptor and will be extremely disappointed if blizzard takes it away from me in cataclysm. Have any of you on beta actually had your mounts removed? I hope these are false rumors.

The ZG mounts are gunna be gone because there won't be a ZG anymore, its being turning into a quest hub, or so I'm told.

That may be so, but there still hasn't been a confirmation by Blizzard to say if the mounts will be removed with the raid, or if they were be available from another source. Ie: rep grind, 5 man, quest rewards etc. Until we hear anything about that we can't really say 100% whether the mounts will be retired or not.
I have read posts saying that the Achievement drakes (ICC wyrms, Uldy drakes, red proto drake, etc.) will NOT be removed. There may be updated comments on that, but the only thing I've personally read is 'they will be staying, it will be easy but those who have it now have the privilege of having them while they are difficult to obtain'.
100% drops in raids such as OS drakes, Mim's head, Invincible etc. will be turned into rare dropped mounts according to the blue posts i've read.
I have heard nothing about Anzu being removed, and I see no reason for him to be. I have been killing him for over a year with the help of my boyfriend (druid for summoning and his shaman to heal me through), with no luck. Hopefully it will drop soon!

This is my impression as well, I believe this was the most recent comment from the blues regarding the matter, so I'm pretty sure they'll still be around.

A little update on Anzu: he is now currently automatically spawned in heroic Sethekk Halls. This means ANYONE can walk in and solo him.
I opted to do this as marks with my trusty bear tank Ursa. With my gear and multishot, we had absolutely no trouble with the trash. We skipped a few packs because I knew it would be safe to skip them without worrying about pulling extra packs, but nothing was that big a deal that it couldn't've been killed quickly. The pairs of guards at the doors later in the instance still hurt like hell and need to be blown away as quickly as possible, since they're immune to CC. Ursa died once because of this, since last stand was missing from his bar. >_< He would not have died otherwise, though. We also skipped the first boss to save time.
Anzu's room is completely cleared now. He's just standing in the spawn location, waiting. This, as anyone who's farmed for the mount knows, is a major godsend. Clearing that room was always the worst part of the mount run. The three helpful birds are still there, but I couldn't check to see if ANYONE can heal them to free them now or if it's just druids still, since Hippomenes (my Loque) was at home for this adventure. As always, the worst part of the fight is the paralyzing screech, followed by the flock of birds, who inevitably will attack you rather than your pet. Be sure to get your MD up and traps down before Anzu casts that puppy. Keep mend pet up at all times. Ursa didn't even need last stand for this fight; the guards hit harder than Anzu and his birdies do.
Good luck!

Now I don't have to drag my poor friend there every night, yay! I'm eager to try this out solo with either Mortimer or Sheldon. I figure Sheldon would be a better choice for the Ravenguards, while Mortimer would be good for the groups. Nice that I can bring both now!
Yay, I may actually get this mount someday!!! I don't care if everyone and their mom has this mount since you don't need a druid anymore, it's still my favorite in the game.
