I really like the idea of taming a hive, Kotamaku. I'd love to see some hunters do that.

i'll be instant taming Qirot...he's uniquely skinned,he's pretty what else can one guy ask?

Well not to go off topic but now since you can have up to 25 pets, inwhich if you grab the different buff/debuff types first you will end up with about..15 or 18 pet slots used. You can use the last 10 or 7 for a whole theme type to match what you like. Like a silithid hive or a desert/jungle exotics theme..of course you dont actually need exotics for that, just pets that look fancy.

Possibilities are limited to how far your willing to go with it, type of pets, and your own creativity.
