Eek. Daw. Well, setting up camping to see if she's up around the 6-7 hour mark. Novi is not staying up until 2AM on a test night. I don't know if it's just me, but I tend to leave tamable rares be.

I've been looking for him til 6:30am, then got up around 12:30pm and have been looking since. It's almost midnight and no sign of him.

Congratulations! Still no luck on Aotona, though it's early in the possible period. I'm not too hopeful for this one - there's a LOT of horde in the Basin hovering around various spawn points for Aotona for some reason. Including a BE hunter who kind of stared at me and ran around me. O_o

Edit: I suspect trying in the morning or after server downtime may be better for my sanity. There's a lot of achievement hunters out tonight.

I hope for the best. If you were on my server, I'd help you look for her. No one ever hunts for her on mine.

Feathermoon seems to be an odd duck, I see folks whizzing by her spawn spot a lot. But hey, c'est la vie and I really am flattered people keep an eye out (Or would anyway). I do feel kind of bad when I get grumpy sitting out here or sound fussy (really!). I try to watch for their rares in turn though. And help shut out griefers. I've made a few friends along the way, which is really nice. If I get Ao or a rare, awesome. If not, perhaps another day will hold my card.

The one rare I'd like but /really/ dread camping would be that shale spider that drops the noncombat pet (owch!).

Jadefang? I doubt it'll be that bad. Takk drops a noncombat pet too but no one camps him.

We have been using beast names to talk to horde and see what they were looking for. IE my GF has a wasp named LFKKrush. The respawn rate seems to be 6-8 hours at Trollbane. Before dinner last night she was talking to a BE hunter looking for Loque. They ended up taming all the wasps and gorillas in that area so they can talk to each other.

Hah, that's awesome.

And I missed Aotona by an hour at 4:40 Feathermoon time - but as it turns out? The Hunter that tamed her is very kind and awesome, so it's strange but I'm incredibly happy. She lead me to Loque later, which I thought was super sweet. I might try to send her a present or something later. I will probably start looking again around 10:10 or so.

But I got Loque! He's precious! And I met a very kind person. That's worth any rare spawn. I am full of glee. I'm hovering around helping someone find King K at the moment.

i am new here. i kept ignoring my npc scan looking for loque i kept getting aotona. today i decided whatever and tamed aotona. i named her dorothy

Woohoo! Finally got Aotona and I swear I all but *saw* her poof into existence. I almost died when NPCscan went off and LO! There was a parrot! 10:40 on the nose, 6 hours exactly after her last tame. I was very grateful the hunter was kind enough to tell me when she'd tamed her too. I'm not sure if positive namings are okay, but I owe her lots. So I got Loque and Aotona today!

I still feel like whoa after. When it rains it pours I guess. I think I'd like Skoll one day but - honestly, I'm happy and I've a few pets to get to 80 now so I can run screaming from the basin and spawn camping. King Krush is cool, but I have a faithful ole devilsaur already. Taktarov's been around since Nov was 60.

And yeah, he is. He was by the Matriarch. When she sent me the tell that Loque was up, I was in Dalaran and almost died of suspense along the way. I was kinda surprised I made it, but it makes sense. The Matriarch's nest is kinda out of the way.

And congratulations Asa. Good luck with Loque.

Yeah there's a couple of parrots that are gorgeous but Aotona is my favorite by far. I'm glad I could be of some help. <3

This bird is absolute hell to get. I haven't seen a spawn since the realms are rebooted for maintenance.

Realm reboots don't really affect the timers so i'd never count on them.

I am not so sure if they affect timers or not.. sometimes I think they do

Oh and Takk used to drop a pet now its in the nest. But before people used to camp Takk, Dart, and the matriarchs hardcore. You never saw them up for long and were killed as soon as they were spawned so I am also thinking.. its going to suuckk to get jadefang.

What time did you tame Loq and Aotona? I want to tame Loq, and with your numbers, I have a better shot looking for him then Gondria.
