I'm thinking we should maybe not have any more dragon-characters. So far, all the dragons have been great, and I don't expect that to change either, but in the lore, dragons are rare. Befriending one supposedly takes several hundred years, if you can find one in the first place. It's just bothering me a bit to have every character accompanied by a dragon. Getting a dragon in-game is nowhere near as hard as it is lorewise, so I was wondering, would it be alright with everyone to not implement any more dragons? I realize that you want your favourite mount, but please, consider the lore. WOTLK didn't give shit about lore with all the drake mounts, and sure, it's cool, but I think we should expect to follow established lore a bit more in a forum RP? No offense meant to anyone, I just think we have enough dragons.

Also; would anyone object if I pulled in a naga character? Wouldn't abide by any faction, or anything. Just joining the group to further it's own goals 's all.

I've noticed this too, and while I'm not one to talk, because I was first to drag in a dragon, yeah, it is a smidge excessive. That's actually the reason Kozri is almost always in human form. Dragons are rare, and his reasons are valid. In WoW, dragons are feared. There's almost always something catastrophic occurring when dragons are involved, so people, lore wise, tend to apply dragons as, "Holyfrakthat'sadragonthatwillbloodyEATME."

So yeah. I'll...I'll shut up now.

I haven't done anything story wise with my drake yet, so if you want I can write her out.

There's no need as of now, it's fine. We're just pointing out in the future to just tone it down a bit. Keep them in disguise, have them lie low, etc. That's all.

And if Drassil gets dragged in, I'll just write out Whelp (a proto drake whelp). She doesn't even have a mount. xD Durid power!

EDIT: Though considering how long elves live, it's feasable that any of the elves could have known the dragons for some time. Epidormi is modeled after the mount - mainly in that she's a relatively useless pansy fighting-wise. When's the last time your mount did anything?

Eh. Proto drakes are really, in my mind, a whole different ball game. They're not as smart, they're not as powerful, and it's a hatchling. In all essence, it's equivalent to a hunter pet.

Yay for Whelp! No, proto-drakes are not intelligent, according to Google. Not really smart at all. Drassil spoils Whelp. xD

I can have Indi go off on her own way since we are getting a bit much in the way of dragons. I only brought her in because at the time she was the only character of mine I have developed for RP. I can continue to use my priest and write in my worgen if we get to the cataclysm itself and everything.

I'll clarify. Please do not bring more dragons. The ones we have are fine, but any more and it will go over he edge.

Besides, if Indi goes off on her own, Decay would just follow. She still feels bad for being so mean in Dala.

I like Indi too! I swear, any of you kill off your characters and you will have a sad Azu on your hands. And you don't want that. >:|

That reminds me, I'd appreciate some post about what Faron is up to, and to keep the story moving, we might want to start moving as soon as possible. (If we're still following the "kill the evil gnome and the weird troll hunter and his pet." story arc.)

For lack of a better plan, that does seem like the arc to go for. Yay for no plans!

Yeah, for the sake of moving the story on, we should probably start attempting to follow the gnome/wolf duo unless we want them to do something else. Out of curiosity, how are we even going to pick their trail up? XD

What I thought was happening was they needed to find a new place for Kozri and Decay get in a bit more training. It turns out the place Decay thinks of is the building those two were located in. I think that's what Sat was hinting, anyway.

Well, Decay suggested that she train with Kozri in "abandoned" cultist building in Icecrown, to avoid anyone else discovering them. It would just be a matter for her to get the rest of the group in on the plan. Azu suggested we use Firewings stable for transportation.

Yeah, just a matter of getting everyone condensed, those who are joining in join in, etc. I'll help kick the story along now though.
