\o/ Thought i'd butt in as well!
I got incredibly lucky with both Arcturis and Aotona within one hour, so I thought i'd push my luck and look for King Green.
No greenie tonight, but I did spot something white and spotted near the Nesingwary camp instead.
I who'd hunters online, and whispered an orc hunter in Orgrimmar. She told me she had been looking for Loque for absolutely ages. Several nervous heart thumps later, Loque was hers!

5am seems to be the magic hour.

I wonder if I will find Krush if I pretend to be looking for Loque instead.. Maybe he'll get jealous and show up.. xD

One more! Well, two actually, but I don't have a screenie of the bear.
Me and two of my friends, decided to have a hunting night together. My friend was on a mission to catch Arcturis and I was on a mission to find King Green. Our paladin friend decided to tag along just for the funfactor.
We played 20 questions and sang "one way or another" to pass the time. She was ready to give up when the bear spawned on her.
I kept my gaze on the spawn points of Krush, and after a while he appeared at the Glimmering Pillar. :3 Magic hour 5 am definitely seems to work.
I thought that we should try to push our luck and search for the other rares for the next half an hour, so the paladin logged on his hunter.
"five more minutes" I said. We were both really tired, but here's the result:


The short while i've spent on the petopia forums, has really cheered me up and made me want to play my hunter a lot more again. <3 At the same time i've had the chance to help out my friends and other fellow hunters.

Oh only if I could get this luck working with my job hunt.. I've been camping Krush for my friend all day, and she finally got him around midnight.
I decided to come back to Shola few hours later out of habit and went through the spawn points.


Not a single hunter in Sholazar, so I decided to /who again. Another happy hunter flew from wintergrasp!



And the server crashed right after she got him tamed too. xD So we got lucky twice!

Grats to the hunters with new pets, and grats to you for successfully helping them!

I have failed once. I still feel bad for that hunter who didn't get her pet, and I have actually not seen her online since.

I like be honest All the Rare i only like in Northern is Skoll,Loque,king krush and Aotona.... i do not like Gondria and that spirit bear they don't quiet click me to grow bond with them.... One i don't like the glow on Gondria dosen,t really suit... and for the Spirit bear i don't like the eyes because it makes it look like a damn Ninja... lolz but then again i am happy for who ever tames them

Gondria was the one I wanted the least, so I never intended to look for her, but I have her anyway xD

Regarding the bear, he was the first I started to camp for, and the last one I got out of the four.

But you know what would be awesome?
If a group of petopians chose a realm to make alts and play together and help each other camping rares and such.. that would be fun ^^

I never quite clicked with the spectral pets (other than my hydra), and the bear's markings remind me of a raccoon. xD So yeah, ninjaaaah.

Oh that'd be really fun! I wonder how many EU users we've got though. D8 I keep finding myself going through all the spawn points whenever I'm idle. The rare hunt has become so addicting. Mainly because of that wee heart attack and adrenaline rush I think. XD

I think we have quite a few here.
I totally agree with you on that one :p Having NPCscan go off when you least expect to find a rare is awesome xD

Could try to choose a low populated server. I wonder if it'd be worth starting when Cata goes live though. Shiny new areas and quests, but it also means more other players. =/

I am glad you enjoy helping others find rares! I am also like you with the whole.. finding myself looking for something for someone.

So far found homes for.. 4 Gondrias, 1 Arcturis, 5 Loques, 6 Aotonas, 5 King krush's, 2 skolls, and I enjoy every minute of it

It so thrilling finding a rare and then finding a home for them ^.^

Yeah, start out on a new server for instance, and then populate it all with hunters xD
We could do it now, so we atleast are on a higher level when cata hits, and then maybe start goblin hunters too ^^
what would be best, pve or pvp server? ^^

Hehe, I dont really keep track though, but I can remember having given away 4 Skolls, and 2 Loques. Have yet to even see aotona xD

So far i given away like 20 Humar Pride-lord, 15 Azzy sky blade, 1 Skoll, 2 Gondria, 1 spirit bear, 2 King krush 3 Loque and other Rares in old world etc... Since i been leveling alts with skinning etc I am glad i found them all a home i always check hunters in area and if there none i /who hunters Then now i got 2 toons left to go. I have 7 80s and 1 is almost 77 and im Pimping:D

Leveling a new hunter now, and when cata comes i want a goblin hunter with a king krush stomping around xD

And I LOVE the a goblin + Krush team idea. xD I've got 5 80's myself, and quite eagerly waiting for Cata to level in the new zones.

Aw :/ Well, what else can we expect since he is frostbitten after all..
Hehe, my hunter(s) get all the attention, so the rest of my chars stays the level they are for a while xD
With more hunters, I can try more pets xD Though the spirit beasts are a must have :p

Hm.. that I actually dont know yet.. maybe we should make a thread just to ask, since not everybody lurks in all threads..
