Either way, all items of said UI would be customisable to fit each persons 'taste'. I just find it odd to give such negative comments about how it doesn't fit your taste when it's not your UI!?

Why put one's UI up for comments if one doesn't want them?

I think the point of saying "x element is not to my taste" is to differentiate between

"I think you should change [item] because a better alternative is available/it blocks the action/etc" (relatively factual)
and
"I personally would change [item] for style reasons" (utterly opinion)

It helps separate peoples' comments, and both kinds are absolutely valid.

Cool looking frame backgrounds, but that's way too distracting. Simple is more in making UIs.

Still a lot of free space in your frames too. Either fill them up with more important info, or better size them down.

This is an older shot of my DK. All my UI's look essentially the same. Only the Sexy Map skin changes.

Out of combat, obviously.

Galahandra , I really really love your UI with the yellow boxes! What did you use? :o

I use the normal UI because i'm like, too noob to make a new one haha. I tried spartan but I really didn't like it.

I've been doing some tweaking again today, and this is what my UI currently looks like.

It's worth noting that while all tooltips from things in my bars and unit frames have the tooltip placed next to my skillbars, anything I hover in the actual game world will have its tooltip displayed at my cursor.

You know what I just noticed in your screenshot. You have your friend blacked out in your chat box but that guild member signs out and in at the same time your friend loggs out and loggs back in.

That means that her RealID friend is the one relogging. The RealID login alert has the whole name printed out, and I'm pretty sure that's way more personal than just the name of that alt.

Mhm? :) I just had to hide her real life name.

Ohh ok. That makes more sense. I wondered if it was real ID myself.
