Why should Worgen get to purchase other races mounts without being exalted? By the time they get to 80+ they'll more than likely be a good way towards exalted anyway.

I actually hated that. Every time you stopped you would "Dismount", even if you only stopped for a second. Then it would take the full three seconds to mount up again. And no. Worgen should not get horses or sabers. They should grind rep like everyone else. They have their "mount", giving them an exception would be stupid. Besides, it's just like every other race. If you absolutely LOVE draenei, but hate elekks (like me), then what would you do? Yes, you would grind gnomeregan rep for the mechastrider.
Ha! That was me too, except with a saber. I never bought an elekk til they came out with those achievements. It was pretty easy gettin exalted by 40 then, gettin exalted by 20 is a lil harder now, but like I said, once you finish the draenei starting area stuff, yer almost revered with Darn...wouldn't take too long to finish up if you go back and do the NE starter quests.

I just think we should be happy they aren't stuck with those goddawful pig things that were a possible mount at one point!

Pffft nothing beats the boar mount orcs get in warhammer. Its just a wild boar they jump on!

Bah, I still think they were my biggest expectation originally coming into Cata stuff, based on speculation and sketches. I woulda loved a big nasty Bloodthirsty hell boar.

See, if the worgen had actually gotten to ride hellboars as opposed to whateverthehecktheconceptsketchwasof, that would have been a bigger tragedy! Well, IMO anyway. xD

I think that they should get a mount (voted NE) because its not just about speed, its about looks, and characters look cool on mounts! Sitting on a mount is one of the best character positions ever. (running wild is mearly how a worgen should look automatically when running)
That battle boar concept art looked like one of the coolest mounts ever! (I've a thing for hooved creatures, hence my talbuks and rams being my most used mounts)

I'm with you on this one. That monstrosity looked like something Putricide made.
I read somewhere that it was a barghest, though a barghest would be more like a hellwolf with slightly reptilian features xD

Same here.
I seriously still believe Worgen will get mounts like everyone else either when Cata goes live, or a patch or two later. Plainsrunning didn't last past Vanilla Beta, after all. Until then, I'm going to be grinding rep with probably the Exodar (I happen to like Elekks), and riding my sparkle pony.
Oh wait, I almost forgot. I'll be rolling a Worgen Warlock anyway! Well, that solves that problem.
