Thanks Wain! I just went and tamed Shadowclaw. I just wish we had a standard (orange and black) riding tiger model. I would die of happiness if we did. But until that time comes, this is a fine consolation prize

And my opinion on this change: *Ahem* OH MAI GAWD. YESPLZ. I adore this change. He looks so cool now. Definately a worth-while rare, in my eyes. Just... Why is he so... Gigantic in the screenshot? Or is it just me? owo;; I must tame him now on my lowbie NE Hunter in time for Cata, just to see him change one day. <3 A bit scary (and amazing at the same time) to see all these cats turning into the Hulk though. I'm going to stop rambling now and go to bed... ;3

Shango should theoretically change, yes.

I'm having a hard time finding Shadowclaw on live. Anyone know what his exact spawn point is or what his exact path is? I'm in the area and have npcscan set to find him, and am tracking beasts and hidden, but can't seem to find him. And that's very odd considering his short respawn timer.

I'm doing the very same on my new baby hunter. Friend of mine tamed him earlier this morning and I've been looking for him for a while already.

Screenshot of where next to the graveyard? This kitty is being ornery. I went and tamed a ghost saber, hoping she'll draw him out of hiding.

Just ride around with your volume high so you can hear the stealth noise. It shouldn't be that hard. Maybe someone got to him already.

I found him a bit more north that that in the trees, a little bit away from the coastline where I randomly got Seafood. I just keep hovering over beast tracking dots as his dot keep popping up before vanishing and ran round panicing lol

well, npcscan found him just now, so he's here somewhere, lol

So npc scan actually alerts with old world rares? o.O Mine didn't, and didn't do so with OCJ or Rak'Shiri either, even with cache clear. Do I need to manually enter the ID of the old rare for the scanner to notify me?

Found him! Finally, lol. He was walking around near the 'B' in Bashal' Aran

And yes, you have to manually enter the ids.

Maybe Shadowclaw is good luck. I just found Loque on Antonietta. And I was just high enough to tame him too! I had just cached him in dalaran, but figured he wouldn't be up. I was going to check for Krush, since I was thinking that loque was lvl 77 for some reason and I'm only lvl 76 on Antonietta. I was coming around the bend at skyreach pillar, mousing over stuff out of habit, and theres Loque'nahak! OMG! Tamed. I'm pretty happy I checked now.
