On topic, I don't think I have ever let someone else's opinion of my pet ruin it for me. xD I have had pet names ruined, like Chrism, but not the pet itself.

Someone pointed out that their lips do not cover their gumline, aside from the Diseased models. I was on the lookout for a non-diseased one to try, but then I saw (and CANNOT UNSEE) the harelip. That's okay, I love my Rotclaw

My first red hyena I got rid of because I couldn't unsee his tail dipping into his body cavity every time he lunged--but that was just something I noticed on my own, nobody'd mentioned it. Ditto the bizarre shape of non-sabercat kitty models, like the Durotar tiger--LOVE the skin, but wtf is UP with the wide-nose squish-eyed faces? O.o

P.S. I hated Loque's model too, but the sounds I do like. I'd actually abandoned the bastard twice, lol, and then got him again because I missed his obnoxiously loud roars (I don't know why I like them--it's the sound, not the volume btw ). Oddly, I LOVED Harkoa, her whole lore and motherly ferocity and everything, but for some reason Loque didn't do it for me until I ran with him for awhile. Still, his model really is terrible--wish they'd fix his neck/shoulder thingy going on!

Lol, this is exactly WHY I'm so tickled by Shango's new skin! It's pretty orange tiger kitty on the left. =3 And about bears, yeah the teeth kind of peeve me, but what else would I do without my big glowing bear butt beside me? I'd miss my Arcturis so much!

I wish the worgs wouldn't have that strange running lope thing where their chest smacks the ground. They must have a spring-loaded chest plate to bounce like that! Leap, boing, leap, boing, leap boing! Lol! And what's up with that flapping jaw with every stride?

Also, huge nitpick here, but my major issue with Skoll and his brethren are the way the front feet are positioned and move when he runs, and the fact that their tail doesn't bend AT ALL. It's like a blue plank tacked on his butt. xD

Well, there is one pet that bugs me. The Northrend worgs. Something seems off about how skinny they are. O_o

The Northrend worgs are very skinny to me, which is why I never really was enthusiastic about taming any of the models, even Skoll. I don't even have a wolf pet yet. I have a friend who loves them though, so to each their own.

As for Loque, I've always seen him as more of a powerful spirit inhabiting the body of a beast. Or even a fabricated avatar of the jungle's soul itself. The spirit glow you see 'leaking' out is the overwhelming power of a demigod attempting to be contained by a mere mortal shell.

I don't even really imagine Loque 'eating'; feeding him is really weird. Where does it go? It is vaporized into pure energy? Perhaps the food is like an offering to a god, consumed in divine fire? It's a spirit. How could it vomit anything if it doesn't even require food?

Two words: Divine hairballs.

I remember mentioning the SAME THING about sporebats in a post here somewhere, ages back. I don't think anyone picked up on it This is why I abandoned mine, and haven't tamed one since

I can't use any old-world model of Worms because of this. I just laugh too damn hard. Northrend worms are the only ones I have, so I'm pretty excited they're giving them new skins!

I was going to tame The Kurken a long time ago when she (he?) was made available, but then every. friggin. hunter. had her, so I have never tamed her, not once. I still cringe when I see her, even though she's not nearly as prolific now.

I love the skinny look to be honest. But their butt is up in the sky which makes them look a little bit weird when they walk. I love the model otherwise.
