Your favorite "Not WoW" game

Nintendo DS. I'm a sucker for Solitaire, so ever since I got a DSi and downloaded Solitaire to it, I've played it a LOT. Probably 250 wins since Autumn...

I played a bit of Dragon Age:Origins. Very few video games attract me. WoW is the only thing that holds my interest for a long span of time. I have played Pokemon, (Yes, well. Sue me as well. :p) some Monster Rancher, (I loved that game. xD) Sims 2, and Sid Meyer's Pirates, I think.

I think the reason I have a hard time really 'getting into' other games now, especially console games, is that WoW is a never-ending thing. The majority of console games are the types that you beat - you play it until you 'win' and that's that. Then you tuck it away somewhere for a few years until some wave of nostalgia or desire hits you and you want to replay it.

WoW sticks with me because there's constantly things to do, to improve on, to collect, etc. I actually find myself thinking things like "I could be spending my time so much better in WoW" if I play other games for too long. xD It's also the best MMO that I've found. No other MMO comes close to WoW in terms of organization and overall enjoyment, at least for me.

Yeah, I'm an addict, lol.

Hmm.... i dont have a favourite game. I always play other games. I liked simple net games when i was young and then i liked Racing games. Then i started play simulators for a while.
After it, i played Shooting games.(Call of Duty, Wolfenstein, and some others) I took a break from them and went to my first MMORPG game, Guild Wars. I played it about a year. after Guild Wars, i started play Crysis(about 8-9months ago) and then WoW.

If you wonder why i told you this, i told it because i wanted to show i never had a "Favourite" game. every age i had another favourite game.

P.S Now i play Modern Warfare 2 also.

right now im playing through Mass Effect 2 for the second time. I plan on playing through it several more, since the classes really got an overhaul.

You can almost always find me on MW2, at least until i get to the point where i ragequit, lol.

Dante's Inferno and Bioshock 2 are also on my list.

I prefer open ended games, I think. Although I don't play them nearly as much as I do WoW I like to play The Sims 2, Spore and Animal Crossing more than anything else. I also like some Facebook games even if I don't level up much compared to my friends.

i would say if my cosion would ever let me get on his Comp. Oblivion, because its good game play and graphics but my Uncles comp. doesnt have a Vid. Card................yet.

I'm currently trying to get through Pokemon Platinum, seeing as I haven't beaten it yet. If I have the urge, I'd just hop on my Pokemon Pearl and kill shit with all my level 100 pokemon. xD

Or Super Mario Bros. for my DS... Damn, now I want to play that again. >< -headdesk-

And if I could possibly get my little cousins to give it up, I'd bring my Super Nintendo over to my house and kick some ass on Kirby All Stars by beating it over for the fifth time.

I just started playing Aion in an attempt to quit WoW So, I guess that would be my favorite for now; favorite with exceptions.

It's fun except for seeming impossible to solo level the way through. Haven't even got to 25 on my ranger before I got frustrated by their version of elite mobs.

... The wind spirit pet is adorable though. That's all I really want

Voted other as I have a few games I adore playing. Or well really love, even if I've not had time recently to play my PS2 :< for PSX: Spyro the dragon. Hands down. Begone new spyro of anorexia and deformities and cliche plot as hell. I like the old games the best. PS2: Spyro Ripto's rage/Drakengard/Kingdom Hearts I/II.

For PC is Spore [when it doesn't crash lol] but it's like my escapism thing since I didn't realize lol I have to deal with the Grox wether I like it or not ._., and L4D [only got the first game so far], but playing to much of L4D usually makes me have wierd dreams...

Flying Boomers anyone? Yeeeeaaaah.


then for PC is also Zoo Tycoon 2. Which I need to get again as well my old disks corrupted :/

I actually just started playing Pokemon Platinum again. Long flights will make you do that, lol.

L4D makes me have weird dreams too, but i love dreaming about zombies so.....yeah.

A bit of Civilization IV, some SC4 and probably a bit of Bioshock when I find the time for it.

All on the PC of course. When you spend as much money on a computer as I have, it's not just as simple as "buy xbox nab". Tough my friends are pushing me...

I love Civ 4 (play it with my flatmate all the time (err Roommate to the rest of the world)), and I also LOVE battlefield 2 Nothing like flying a chopper around dominating people

I also play a bit of ps3 (Battlefield 1943, soon to be BF:BC2, GTA4, Metal Gear etc - but no as often).

When I'm heavily into wow (I have my phases), it saves me a lot of cash on having to buy other games lol.

That said when Battlefield 3 or Civ 5 comes out...I'll be gone for a while LOL!

The thing that bugs me the most are the guys that have no idea how to fly, and still insist on piloting. And then they bitch on me about it, despite the fact that I'm obviously a better pilot! I can fly in more than five seconds without crashing dude. You managed to kill yourself without leaving the landing pad. Will you let me fly? You can have gunner seat!

I like the people that try to fly the blackhawk off the carrier (with a full load in it) at the start of the game and go plummeting into the sea! LOL

I also love them guys who when piloting go OMG U SUCK U DIDNT KILL THAT TARGET, yet they made no attempt to line you up for a shot haha.

For the grox, health packs+colonize during a mad dash for the center. The grox will leave their planets if you raise it above a Tscore 0 too.
If you want to bed an unnecessary amount of time, you can wipe them out on an easy mode and any other game you make will have them killed off.

lol, I just flew through them. Haven't updated my spore ID yet with the rod of life achievement and some of my new critters, but I might get that done today.
