Yeah I was in zul'gurub I couldn't bear to see the kittys in the instance gone so I tamed xoazoith my tiger and apathian my panther,

I'm a rescuer here as well. I picked up Timber, who was my hunter's very first real pet. I don't yet know if I'll keep him, as I really grew apart from wolves when everyone and their brother had one, but for nostalgia's sake, I'm not that willing to release him.

It's the same with my soulflayer, Soloflayer. He was a loyal pet for me for a very long while, released when the changes turned him from a raiding powerhouse to a 'meh' PVPer. I presently have both him and a white windserpent in my stable, waffling badly on what to do. I may release (I never 'abandon' my pets; I always 'release' them!) both of them when I get my blue dragonhawk.

I also made an attempt to rescue a Core Hound from MC (which won't be going away) and a Scarlet hyena (whose skin will probably change right there in the stable), but.... yeah.

I've had one of the crag stalkers from thousand needles since before wrath. It's my only pet that I've kept longer then a week. I love blizzy he's my kitty and my fave pet. so idk what I'm gonna do when cata hits and all those lovely crag stalkers vanish :\
