Any luck yet Vel?

As a matter of fact, yes! I got him back last night, around 9:30 server time. And got some pics too So let's continue the story shall we?

With the unexpected release of Deathwing and the shattering of the world, Azeroth was thrown into chaos. Silinrul remained behind in the cities to help rebuild, protect the civilians, and help in any way she could, but the entire time her mind and heart were in Tanaris with her closest animal companion. Who knew if Jiaphyon had survived the breaking too? So many things had perished with Deathwing's return and the landscape had changed so much that Jiaphyon might be lost forever.

As soon as she could reasonably get away, Silinrul headed straight for Tanaris. She urged one of her fastest steeds across the sands as fast as it could go, anxiously heading towards Uldum's gates.



When she arrived she was both amazed and appalled to see that the gate was broken open, and its breaking must have been extremely dangerous. Furthermore, no matter how much she called, there was no sign of Jia.



She became anxious, but knowing she had warned Jiaphyon to flee if things got dangerous, she started exploring the surrounding area. When the gate shattered it was entirely possible that other things had left it, or just that the cracking landscape was too dangerous for any creature to remain there.

While running around searching frantically, she stopped to rest briefly in the shade of a few massive bones. And lo and behold, her old friend approached her there!



They had an ecstatic reunion with lots of hugging and laughing and happiness And then they ran off together to go back into the new world and try to do their best to help it as a team

Hooray! All is right in the world again, despite, y'know, the massive black Aspect and the breaking and the sundering.

Congrats! My beloved Emme the White Polar bear unknowingly turned Grey on me last night after the patch. I think Emme got switched with another at the griffon port so I'll have to call Delta to track her down. I think the bear I got was destined for Zuldrak, so perhaps I'll head up there to see where Emme went

I ended up running into Vel when I landed in Tanaris to go tame some stuff. xD Saw the red hyena first, then noticed the J in front of the name, and then I was all 'Eee she got him!'.

Yay! You two were on my mind all day yesterday. <3 Congrats on being reunited!

I was finally able to get Legba back on Gazini. She was only level 48 and Slaverjaw seemed to be a static 49 spawn, so I was waiting for the motivation to grind out that last level. I logged in last night to take screenshots of Slaverjaw's spawn point to post in that thread, and sure enough he was up. Then I swapped over to Gaz and madly killed things in Tanaris till I dinged and snagged him.

Awesome, because it is a totally worthwhile pet to have Red hyenas ftw!

Just a fantastic read! So glad to hear there are others out there who love their red Hyena's as much as I do! Great job!
