I am trying to spread the love by hitting as many families as I can, but there are certain families that will get left out. Like... I have to get every single Spirit Beast, but the fox, raptor, and bear families might get left behind on Tapeworm.
When we had 5 stable slots and heard we were getting 20 more it seemed like a lot... but having 19 (or more) pets now it doesn't seem like it is that much room. Considering how long it took to get Blizzard to update the size... it might be some time before we have another increase... IF we have another. Even if they gave us 100 slots we would all complain at some point that we need more.
Regarding taming... I was able to solo tame her in beta and she did knock me back once, but didn't have enough time to do it again before she was mine.
Yes haste pots cut down the tame time, but when patch 4.0.1 (or 4.0.0) came out, they reduced the cast time on Tame from 20ish seconds to 10, so a haste pot isn't needed since she does her knockback every 10-15 seconds. I did it on my copied 80 hunter on beta a few months ago after I had farmed the scrolls and had no problems taming. Just find a pile of skulls that has a hill or tree/hut close enough to it so you can kite her over and have it against your back, wait for her to do the knockback then start taming.Novikova wrote:Don't haste potions cut tame time too? There there, I'm sure he always knew! My Jerkface was named such because when I tamed him, he actually warped out of my frost trap twice mid-tame! I was so frustrated with him I gave him that name, figuring once I calmed down I'd get him a better one... but it was just always so fitting.Jangalian wrote:I have to confess, I once had a ravager.
