Anyone feel sorry for the Blizzard employees? People raging and asking "Is it done yet? How bout now? NOW?! NAO NAO NAO!!!"

And they're in the middle of a 14+ hour workday, on a holiday week. They're gonna need some time off and lots of Turkey and Pumpkin Pie to recover.

Who knew trying to shut the portals in Dal and Shath would be so difficult.

Hmm but today is also wows 6th anniversary! should the worst happen and we don't get to play today...I wonder what happens with that? And where is my little moonkin?? I was 100% certain it'd be in stores today

Clearly all the tauren and boomkin have "widened" the portals, quite substantially.

Usually, normal Content Patches take more than expected. Usually around 8-10 PM. This is pretty huge and unprecedented. So, my guess is...

4 PM Wednesday, November 24th, 2010.

I'm surprised. I thought it would be an All Day Maintenence, considering the extent to which the world's going to change. Thought I'd use the time to get caught up on some studying, with finals coming and everything

I did stay up until the server restart at 6 this morning, saying "goodbye" to Old Azeroth, and grinding event gear for my 'lock and mage, since all four bosses were available for the first time on my server since the first day. Good thing I didn't have school until 3:30 this afternoon!

I also sent every one of my Alterac Mountains toons "home" -- to the towns that they're most confortable in, RP-wise:

Cerah rejoined her family (My Troll [technically Trorc] Mage, Taysha, her daughter, and my bf's Troll Hunter, Seabaston, her husband) at "their" hut in Shadowprey Village in Desolace.

Emielee, my Forsaken warlock, returned to the Magic Quarter of Undercity.

Lighthope, my Blood Elf Paladin, and her son Fateflare, my BE Rogue, came home to Silvermoon

Bessey, my Tauren Druid, teleported back to Moonglade

Meggera, my DK Death Knight, went back to the Ebon Hold.

I thought it would be nice for my toons to start out their adventures in a new world from their homes. I got Taysha back literally just 4 minutes before the server restart.

OH COME ON! I fall asleep and wake to see its 15 minutes after 2. Im thinking "OMG! IM LATE HURRY HURRY!" And were still not up yet Grrrr

I am So glad I'm off tomorrow..guess who's staying up late to get all of her pets!

I came home thinking I'd be late and then I log in and 'Not up until 5 pm PST'...well alrighty then! No loss for me then!

Mine is still down. I guess I'll go back to pacing around the living room. I'm starting to feel like I'm some time of drug addict whenever it comes to this game and how I act during downtime. =)
