Um no, his/her respawn time is most like 1~2 hours. It'll only feel longer because well as said there's gonna be a dozen people or more going for him/her.

Mostly saying this as 1 hour respawn timers do not suddenly increase to 4, 7, or more.

I also got ashtail Def not the first since I saw someone tame it the hour before me.
But its mine non the less

I rather doubt this, as most lower level rares (can vary) have relatively short respawn timers.

That is when it is the worse. People fighting over spawns. :\ Especially since this spawn has such a quick re-spawn I hope it works out.

Haha, oops! Yeah, luckily it sticks around the hour pretty good. Mine was a hour and ten minute spawn. So as someone mentioned before it is probably 1-2 hours.

I have the time now-no work all week, so I'm camping him at 230 in the morning..

: DDD This little fox is absolutely amazing! I spotted him right away after I logged in (Kilrogg was lagging behind on the realm list as usual, so I don't know if the spawn timer is accurate).
I did run into some really weird bug while taming though.
Whenever I clicked Tame Beast, the game gave me an error message and said that "you need to target something first". =/
I proceeded to kill a ram while Ashtail was in a trap and after that, it all went smoothly.

Grats I just got servers first Ashtail tame as well On EU server The Maelstrom. I logged out from there yesterday, and at the first sign of server up, i logged in, and there he was

Aww, Mearra. Hey! I guess I'm an oddball, I really like this one and the black foxes. I grabbed a black fox and everyone loves Fuchs! (though tan was a close second). If you need help camping, holler or something.

Mercifully he's a low level spawn with a short timer.

Got Ashtail as well. This morning, logged in at around 5h50 am EST just before leaving for work and there he was alone.

Didn't even take the time to name or talent him up.

Jumped ahead a level on my fiancee on the new hunter alt to get this...the run from Tirisfal to Loch Modan is a good one for a level 16, but I think it was well worth it. Found him a bit north of where wowhead says he spawns. Looked like he was patrolling around, but I didn't wait around to make sure =)

Could be worth taking a small (small) walk around if you don't see him where he's supposed to be at first. I guess that's generally good practice with any rare spawn, though.

I got lucky about an hour ago as well - no one else was waiting and Ashtail was just doing careful rounds near the little hill - I say careful because the other foxes were running around as if possessed I especially like the unique sounds he makes!

Hello, long time reader, but this is my first post, Ashtail @11:16 at DT EU running around like mad and being 99% server first one tamed

My GF just tamed her after missing the tame at 1pm server Trollbane US. She spawned again at 2:25pm. She liked to thank the Female Tuaren Hunter that watch her tame it and clapped for her when she was done.

Here is my Lucai after I got him. Was talking to another player who had a Deathy Companion. <3 Apparently Lucai was interested, lol.
