One of the reasons why I specifically wanted the 51 point beastmastery talent was to get a silithid. I've got a dark red one named Louie ( named for an Australian cartoon commercial character " Louie the Fly " ).

I've not used my Louie in a while, switching to my core hound, blighthound and I'll now be trotting around with Arcturis... But Louie will still be in my stables.

...I like to think that the ravager I used to have grew up into a silithid...

My second hunter has the bright blue silithid and I love him for his witty nature. Plus, he'd make a great dancer for a bug.

I can bet that for the reason almost no one has a silithid is because they don't know it's an exotic pet or they don't care for its dancing.
