I didn't see anything different yesterday with Nightshade, my oil hawk.

I'm keeping her anyway. I figured we wouldn't have birds actually flying for long.

Your oily hawk flies like normal (that is, none of the idling nonsense)? Maybe it's just limited to the pets that got hotfixed...

I haven't been on Silinrul--who has the golden eagle--since the hotfix for flying.

I DEFINITELY wouldn't abandon this pet just because it can't fly anymore. That was a nice extra perk, but not the reason I tamed her to begin with.

However, if she now has the flight glitch, I may have to stable her until she flies correctly in the future. That flying glitch really bugs me, it's just so distracting I can't stand it...

I'm not bothered by the removal of flying. To be honest, it actually annoyed me a little that Ysuran would be high up in the air while idle and then suddenly zip down lower while I was running. That constant zipping up and zipping down every time I started or stopped moving was getting to me.

Will keep Hábrök undead eagle no matter what. One of the best pet since vanilla.
Love this model, it was lots of fun to run with him while he was able to fly, and STILL a fun to have him next to me.
Still have Arakkoa Protector 'cos of his uniqueness, but will wait till Cata and few next hotfix patches.
If Blizz going to remove nice glow from this bird there will be no reason for me to keep it.

Set free oiled eagle and other birds already.
