I tamed mine just east of the ..circle of carnage ... the new ring of blood.

Location for my tame, was exactly at 53.5 52.9 He had to have spawned -exactly- there, since I'd been doing laps around the place for a good hour or so without any luck till then.

I just tamed mine east of crushblow. About an hour after getting the ghost crab.
