I only hope these people camping these rares are only misinformed and not attempting to grief hunters. They're in for a nasty surprise when they find no achievement and gray vendor item. >.< Especially after all that camping.

Not totally on topic, but I had a non-hunter whisper me a week ago to tell me that he felt "terrible" because he killed Terrorpene without knowing what he was. Annoyed that he would tell me this in the first place, I sent him to go seek out and try to kill Ghostcrawler. -_- Don't know if he actually did or not, but if he did, I certainly hope GC taught him a lesson. >_<

Haha. xD I don't know anyone who's actually killed him yet.

And I really wish Boub would give the list another look and clarify that these mobs do NOT drop any kind of loot, except the tear. Gladly every person I know, has felt awful about killing the mobs after reading the text on the gray item. Has anyone managed to get him to answer yet?

OMG I was so infuriated when MMO-Champ put up that rare list. I don't care for the "rare list" in it's entirety: the hunter pets and the dragons.

I was camping Aeonaxx with little to no competition on my realm, now there's like 10 people in Deepholm in that one spot! >< I also wanted to try and get the Grey camel, and well, similar story there. Finally, I hoped to tame Karoma as a companion to my original ghost wolf, but now I see a ton of idiot non-hunters camping there.

I mean I guess some people are just real jerks sadly, and delight in killing pets for spiteful reasons. But I will continue to find rare spawns, tag them, and if I already have it tamed, kite it to a safe not-patrolled zone and whisper hunters in the zone so they can have a chance to get it. @_@

I wonder how many griefers are camping Ghostcrawler now? Boub made no mention of Nerfbat

I have yet to get a response. :/ Kinda hoping hunters flood him with e-mails about it. Maybe that will get him to post..

Oh joy. It's already hard on BR with all the griefers. Maybe I will go through with offering 1k gold for Sambas and Karoma each.

the thread gave me serious amusement as a I read it. Everyone is focusing on Aeonaxx and ignoring anything to do with the hunter tamables.

Dang, been camping Aeonaxx on and off since I learned of him. There's a lot more people out there now waiting. Ah well, I never had much luck with that sort of thing...hopefully I'll find him some day. x)

So which should we do:

A: Allow people to stupidly think that the rares have the same loot as the rares that have loot
B: Get Boub to rectify this and explain the mobs drop nothing, are worthless and outside of the griefers most should stop.

Also it's not going to roll off the main page anytime soon- the quicker this is absolved of people thinking that the rares stupidly drop loot like their northrend counterparts. The. Better. There has as been stated accidental killings of people thinking that the rares were worth something and upon finding out otherwise they are left with a bad taste in their mouths at seeing that the rare tamables are only worth while to hunters.

... not that I am holding my breath for TLPD .. Yas can't even get green proto ._. ... how big do tickbirds lay their eggs ffs!? Stupid gorlocs ;.; QQ

The Aeonaxx mount is the first of its type that I've actually wanted. I was never fond of TLPD's colour, so I wouldn't look for him unless I stumbled upon him by chance. The Phosphorescent Stone Drake is gorgeous though, purple and green, so I've resolved myself to finding him. Hopefully.

I already hadn't seen any camel figurines before this post, so I certainly doubt I'll ever find one now. >_<

Glad I got Ghostcrawler when I did, as I probly would have to compete with loot-seeking poachers now.

I sincerely doubt that anyone will be downing Ghostcrawler anytime soon. (Yay!)

Yeah, I got Skoll helping a guildie camp TLPD. I can't get a green proto either. I think the Oracles are holding out on me on purpose.

I saw Aeonaxx but apparently moonfire is faster than arrow and a worgen druid took the tag. ~_~ Bah. Oh well. Yeah, I wouldn't camp the new TLPD just yet - though I've seen and given away the old one a couple of times. Here, have my TLPD charm.

I finally saw a camel statue, but it was a dud and a druid accused me of stealing it. Um. Sorry?

And it's stuff like this that makes me loathe MMO Champ more...yet last time I said that, I got flamed for it here.
