Maybe. I keep her out as a pet.
And don't give up. Take a break if you need to, but you can always peek in between quests.

Two rounds of all the zones while mining.. nada.. time for some fishing.

So I log in this morning to do the fishing and cooking daily, and do drive-bys for the rares, and get reports of Sambas, Terrorpene, Jadefang and Madexx all being tamed before I logged on.
FML..
Maybe I should switch to my DK..
