Skoll: Violet (as in violet wand)
Giant orange wasp: FlyreFie
Devilsaur: subtle
gorilla: tiny

I found Qirot recently, but had not thought of any good wasp names. So, I asked someone who I had been chatting with to some up with a name for my new wasp. "Sparkles!" was the reply. Eventually, I did in fact name my wasp Sparkles. The reason? I get to stun people with sparkles.

My white gorilla is named Cranky.

As in Cranky Kong.

My favourite name for a pet was one one of the Plagued Bears from EPL with all the cuts up the side which I named Emo. I also had a bat for a long while named Tardsav (as in Bat-Tardsav)

Probably the best of the current lot are Bundy the Spirit Bear, Exwife the Carrion Bird, Minger the Hyena and Styx the Ghost Crab

I have a hawk named "mikehawk" I know it's a little inappropriate but it always gets some laughs. I also have a brain bug named "blacksanta"

The only silly names I have, outside of toon names and crab names [CrabLegs/Cakes/Cake etc]..

Is Yasindra's Sambas, which I named Fonz cause of his hair and well how you either love em or hate him, just like Fonzie.

a friend has a crab named "Kwell".
I thought that was pretty funny.

Someone suggested I name my Ghostcrawler iPinch or iPinchNano. XP I kind of love it. I also gave my red snake a silly name: Solid (Bonus points if you get the reference). For some reason, people think Fuchs the Fox is funny too >>

Don't you think Torkoal would be infinitely more fitting? That's what I initially named my Terrorpene. :D

I had a wasp named GORDONSUMNER once, my orange/purple ravager was named Rainbow, and my future Goblin hunter Spacebat shall be accompanied by a bat named Spacegoblin.

My sister always named her Jormungar worms CUPCAKE with some numerals on the end.

Oil-stained wolf - Inky
Gondria - Shroedinger
Every bear i ever have - Bearsark (the etymological root of berserk), or Bearserker, depends on my mood
"Purple" hyena - Tickledpink
Silithid Ravager - Twitch
Red Corehound - Clifford
Black Armored Boar - Cyboar
Those are the only ones I think qualify as even remotely "funny" in my stables. It's killing me trying to decide on a name for my Chromaggus corehound, I think that one will be my next order of business.

White bear: BiPolarBear
flaming pig: Rumproast, bacon, etc...
Rhino: GnomePuntin, GnomeStomp
any cat: Fuzzy Kitten
Shale Spider: Geodude

My big green wasp is named Peeve. This is pretty much entirely so my petemote will occasionally go off as "Daranara's pet Peeve tries to figure out how to bug you."

In bestial wrath she becomes my biggest pet Peeve.

I've got my Terrorpene named Torkoal and my King Krush named Tyranitar. I had a croc named Wiggles before, but other than that I think all my pets have serious names.

Just saw a hunter named Scully in Uldum, with a fox named Mulder.

Before I could finish laughing at <Scully's
Pet>, she dismissed him and pulled out a Terrorpene named Skinner.

I gave her an internet in /w.

I really can't stand names like "IStunUrAzz" or as I saw here, "MikeHawk" (I'd be the one reporting that name, I'm that kind of player).

The best funny name I've seen was Boarbeque, my bf's fire-boar. I usually use names like Gustiver, RileyTucker, Haynesfield, Bailey, Murdoc...
Though I do have 2 cats called Chowder and Panini... and my core hound, The Beast, is called PiratesBay (The Beast of Pirate's Bay is a great song, btw).

My worm's name is Bait.
And my flaming boar is Barbeque. (I just couldn't do the full puns)
And my MC corehound's name is Loot, though that's not entirely uncommon.

I'm half tempted to get a blue scorpion and name it SubZero, but I'm not sure really.
If I ever get Krush, he will be named Reptar.
For a little while I had the exposed brain bug, named Mother (with some ascii vowels I don't remember... but it didn't click super well and I really don't like using ascii in character/pet names unless it's a foreign type name)

Though that's not so much funny as just playing off pop culture (even if it's old pop culture). More what I tend to lean to instead of really bizarre or meme-type names.

my turtle is Snappy.

my DH tamed Humar and renamed him FluffMuffin.
