But he DOES tap the keg for Brewfest. So Thrall doesn't have to get up and do it himself.

Considering how abandoned old world Azeroth has been since the release of BC, this all makes sense. We've been gone for a few years and come back to a changed world.

So this is a total noob question...This all sounds very exciting, but what levels is this for? Ive only experienced Gnomer as a low-mid level instance. Are all these changes for a higher level run?

They are giving some old dungeons heroic modes, basically same setting, different mobs.

I think they've scheduled DM, RFK and Gnomer for these heroics, could be more tough.

We don't know yet!

So far, it seems like we may still have the old version of Gnomeregan as an instance, so all the gnomes will actually get back is the land above. That area is for real lowbies (ditto for the troll equivalent), so everyone can participate, undoubtedly.

Players have been clamoring for a Caverns of Time instance for the fall of Gnomer for years. If we're getting Gnomer back, then maybe the current instance will be put in there as a tribute.

It's hard to tell exactly what Blizzard has in mind at this point. The only old school instances that we KNOW are going to be heroics at this point are Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep.

Gnomer. Growl. I ran that place once, never touched it again. When I tried to help someone, we got horribly lost. xD

As for trolls, I'm an Ally. I offer no opinion.

Ah, ok. Those were actually the only ones I could remember, I just assumed Gnomer had been announced too after reading this thread.

Heroic gnomer would be epic.

Or even better, it becomes a quest hub in Cata.
