Oooo, I wonder if web wrap will look like...well, the web wrap that enemy mobs do to you like in some of those LK instances. Ahn'Kahet or whatever? Fun! Nice that it's a stun, too. And with the BM talent, the cooldown is reduced to 31.5 seconds (if I'm not mistaken). Purty nice! :D

What were the old armour percentages?.. (instead of the new 70%?) Looks like Mania doesn't have that comparison page anymore... odd.

I'm assuming this is a nerf to Tenacity pets. Pet tanking may have just gotten harder (unless it's a huge buff to the other families, but I can't find the old percentages anywhere).

I think most people that tamed a shale spider named theirs Squee. I did too. In fact, I call all shale spiders "squee spiders" now.

* Master's Call now has a 35-second cooldown, down from 1 minute. In addition, the visual effect is more obvious.
There was a visual effect? XD

Nice changes. I still think Arcane shot shot could do with a boost, and Aimed's cast time could be slightly lowered to something like what it was back in vanilla, overall, yay n stuff :)

I wish Kill Command worked like it originally did from back in the day, and Misdirect either needs another 2 seconds added to it, or switch back to how it worked originally but charges are only consumed by non autocast shots

Dreaming I know.

I was wondering the same thing! I've always gotten a kick out of trying to find the biggest Hunter's Mark (the winner thus far has been Iron Colossus). If Web Wrap uses the same spell effects as NPC-cast Web Wraps, then I'm going to see if Web Wrap will scale with the size of its target and have some fun :P

A circular chain (looks like a gold bracelet) appears above the head of both your pet and the target of Master's Call. The chains then break, complete with sound effects.

Are these live yet? Or just in the PTR

PTR only. The patch will be live... well... when the patch is live.

And if the PTR client download weren't presently broken, I'd be giving it a try. :(

Hmm... I'm kinda excited for the changes... kinda... not. I have to get on PTR first. I totally love the BM/MM buffs, but I'm not sure if that's going to solve my real enemy in those specs: AKA Focus. I am constantly fighting to get more focus as BM @_@
I think you might want to change the thread title there, Acherontia ;)

Oh, and to answer a question in your thread, Rikaku, shale spiders are exotic pets that only have an exotic ability (embrace of the shale spider) but no special ability. This is about a month overdue, but I think that Web Wrap being so awesome makes up for it :)

Nice to hear about the tallstrider fix, but this was what really caught my eye - while I didn't consider MM spec exactly "broken", neither was I seeing any compelling reason to use it - seemed like BM and SV could do everything as good or better. And that's at lvl 80; in the lower levels it really did stink - case in point I tried it on my new goblin hunter and found I was doing way better with arcane (more dps, less focus use) than aimed shot; okay I guess when you get the higher level talented proc but c'mon - is that really all aimed was meant to be good for?

So, great news - can't wait to try out MM on my belf, and hopefully it will be worth switching my goblin back to MM from SV...

I'm pretty freakin excited about this because I love BM and was just hoping they would fix it some. Now maybe I won't have to be SV to get some decent damage out.

The old armor percentages were:

tenacity 70%
cunning 60%
ferocity 50%

So it's a buff to the survivability of cunning and ferocity pets. :)

Thank god, then! Was noticing that Cataclysm mobs were hitting my ferocities pretty hard, enough that I nearly sent them in with Mend Pet rolling. Not game breaking for me, but at the same time...it'll be nice to have a little bit less to worry about. Also jazzed about the BM/MM buff in general, I do love me some BM.

Worba as a MM hunter I can tell you Aimed shot as of right now is pretty bad. I mean its only really usefull if you get that buff from steady shot but that RERELY goes off even on bosses your better off not even useing it :(

That wasn't the case when I was marks. The instant aimed shot procced pretty often on raid bosses, but everything else died too fast. The overall damage output from marks is lower, though, so these buffs should hopefully help. Agreed that it's only useful on the proc, which is kind of silly, really. Might as well just give it to us as an instant shot that's unavailable unless it procs.

Yeah I think that would be a great idea as if you use it on its own it like takes most of your focus away.

That's what I said (and I have an MM spec hunter as well, so I know all about it); it needs to be useful for more than raids.

Hopefully now it will (once this goes live).
