i think you need to /wowquit for a while. seriously it seems like a unhealthy obsession. i would back off for a few days then go more casual approach. its easier on the mind

I am fine.

Aotona took me 7 weeks of evenings at 8-10hrs every day... I lived through that, but as I said... I never felt helpless during that camp.

In other news... although not very spectacular and i don't get to transfer it over to Live... but...

It was roaming around the spawn point east of the ruins....

Here is the kicker... there were only 3 other people in Uldum at the time... (on the PTR)

I'm surprised I haven't seen this suggested yet. Instead of changing any colors, or spawn timers how about this for a fix? Keep the spawn time like it is, and even the spawn area the same but make each color spawn at a single location.

The mob stays as rare as it is now, but to get the color you prefer, just camp at the single spawn sight to prevent it getting killed from under you.



And as a side note, this was the last new cata rare I went after and I was reading through a thread on him here. I got to reading about how phasing could be affecting things and tabbed back in game to path. Well, that thread brought me luck? I found him and in the color I wanted. The tame went smoothly other than me not hitting the tame button fast enough and my autoshot breaking the trap. I noticed something odd though, when I looked at the screen shots later. The entire time I found him, engaged, and tamed him the nameplate was greyed out to me. I never saw a single person around until after he was my pet. It leaves me wondering if there was someone that saw the mob disappear when my tame finished.
